I think we can retire the Joe Flacco is average argument. QBs take time to mature, Kaepernick and Wilson not withstanding. And please let's not give all the credit to his D or WRs. All the great oneS had a team around them.
Never seen WRs as good at snatching passes as Boldin and Smith. Seemed like they came down with every contested ball, even when the defender had excellent position.
Thought Roman's play calling was poor on the red zone possession after Rice's fumble and on the final series was poor. Nothing in the middle of the field, nothing that gave Kaepernick an option to run.
BTW: Boldin, McKinnie Jacoby Jones, free agents all.
Dontae Whittner had a terrible game.
Flacco is certainly better than I ever gave him credit for. He is top 10 QB no arguement from me. He got better every year, but also has the Eli trait that he plays bigger in bigger games.
Our WRs are big and strong and need to fight for the ball like Boldin.
I think Paul Kruger (sp) is also a FA. We have the $,they cant sign em all with the payday that Flacco is gonna command.
I thought the 49ers DL and secondary both stunk up the field yesterday.
i couldnt stand him when he played, but Boomer Esiason is on my good side nowdays. I listen to his radio show every morning and he provided some balance to the Ray love fest yesterday, reminding the entire Superbowl watching nation that Lewis has never answered the questions after Shannon Sharpe interview.
