RE: What are SFO's odds?

1) I don't think Weeden is Claussen--come back to me in a year on that one :)
2) Draft pick in '14 if it doesn't pan out.
3) I think Weeden was a Holmgren pick, not a consensus.
4) New owner did, but to his credit he kept Warhop and Tabor (who I hated last year) on for stability.
5) Yes, we have had turnover. No 16-game starter since Couch in '01.
6) Chud was from Carolina, but I don't think we'll bring in Claussen.
7) NO. Those are good questions, esp. with the Chud connections.

I think you're replying to me...

Having touched on the QB situation, I would say:

- No, do not bring in Claussen! We don't need blond-headed fools with entitlement issues. They can be okay for a weekend, but you don't want to settle down with one.

- With the little I've seen, I'd say Chud and Norv stay the course with Weeden for now, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a QB drafted later if the pickers think they can get a deal/steal based on their evaluations. But let's just say- despite any excuses one can make for Weeden's performance to date- he hasn't solidified his spot so far. Especially with new sherrifs in town.

Weeden was drafted by someone else and hasn't blown anyone away so far. Now he will be "evaluated". And he looks more like our former owner than our current owner. Which is irrelevant, of course.

+1 :)

I hope the 49ers kick their ass. I know, swear word, but whatever...:)
