Re: So let's reset on Haslam.

Haslam - So far so good!

He appears to be an owner who wants to be involved with the Cleveland Browns fans.  He is not a quiet guy living in New York and not talking to the Cleveland Browns media or making appearances.

I thought he made a mistake by hiring Joe Banner and I will continue to keep that opinion.

There is no doubt he wants to improve the Cleveland Browns.

We don't see the complete picture, but sometime this month the GM and the rest of the coaching staff will be hired and we will get a better understanding on what will happen over the next few years.

The stadium naming rights can produce a good amount of cash flow.

I don't know what he is going to do with the stadium and what is going to happen to improve the fans in attendance. It sounds like he wants to improve their game experience.  This is very good.

Jimmy Haslam appears to be a strong owner and brought Joe Banner along to make sure he did not make any early mistakes in his ownership journey.

The Cleveland Browns have a few weaknesses after the 2012 season.  The first is an offense that did not score enough points  It appears with Chud and Turner, this offense will produce points.

The defense has to be strengthen.  The defensive coordinator and his staff of coaches will be the first step in recognizing the chances of improvement.  I for one, believed that is Dick Jauron got a few more key players the defense would continue to improve.  I don't like the idea that Chud has not talked to Dick Jauron to-date.

There are pluses and minuses, but, I am willing to wait.  So far so good.
