He was considered an early favorite but Jacksonville was looking at him as a HC. He'd match what Chud talked about not necessarily bringing in a 3-4 or 4-3 guy but a guy who would be able to either use both or use the best for personell. Plus - He's from Cleveland. Minus - If he's any good this year he'll probably be a HC candidate over the next couple yearsMorris was brought up in the 43 Tampa-2 system but moved the Bucs away from it when he took over to a man-to-man/heavy blitz scheme. He reportedly did a pretty decent job on the Skins DBs this year although their defense as a whole was pretty bad most of the year. Browns are FS and CB away from having the personell capable of fitting well in the Tampa-2. Maybe a DE too although I think Sheard would actually fit well in a Tampa 2.Plus - He has experience as a HC even if it wasn't a very good experienceMinus - The farther up he got in Tampa the worst their defense got
With new Cards Bruce Arians exploring options at DC (Todd Bowles is one target), and Cards DC Ray Horton hoping to explore other options...
