Kid had it going on , heisman momentum , 7 interceptions , wining team , and he made plays in big games , but in the biggest of the biggest , when you had to play your best , he showed up small .
Now maybe he was preocupied with all this junk , or maybe he got layed all weekend and wa drained or his jock strap suddenly got too big for him when his balls shrank down to BB's , in the end it doesn't matter .
Its a critical data point which can't be ignored , just as Troy Smith was made to look average when he faced legit NFL type speed you have to pass at the 6th spot overall because the value is not there .
VS NFL line talent he was engulfed and destroyed.
If he runs a 4.8 4.9 in the combine instead of 4.5 4.6 , on the heels of that performance you then question if he's an everydown backer at that level and a liability in coverage ,and that stock will drop and we 'll scoop a cheapie , that we maybe able to develop, without the high priced fair.
It is what it is , we're usually not this lucky to find out the hickies until we draft em and get stuck with them.
