Ken Wisenhunt was a finalist for HC. He was interviewed twice. He didn't get the job.

The Rumors:

Banner wanted say over his staff hires. Banner says not true. Whizz thru rumors says its so. I ask myself who has motivation to lie here? Would Whizz really care enough to lie bring jilted by.... The Browns? Or would a man trying to hire a GM with a reputation for infighting & micro managing and little mans non- football ego?

Speculation is the Browns didnt want more transition. Given they uprooted a successful respected GM & first time HC who felt with a lockout & no camps in transition year & playing 22 rooks or 2 year starters does that make sense?

The only unit that HAD vet talent & underperformed had the coach retained.

Cost has been also speculated. Is that true? If so, what does that mean about Haslam?

What does any of this say about Banner & Trey if Whizz is truthful ?

I fully expect The Defenders of the Faith to knee jerk & bleet and bahhh, so if you have to pollute PF with Big Board thought fascism maybe put an asterisk in your subject line so I & others who like to mull over the potential schenarios as data point without final conclusion but try to have them at the ready for future pattern understanding can skip them and talk as men while you fight over the Happy Meal toys.

Whiz is unemployed , and was in the running for a number of jobs, so his agent has to get his side of the story out on why and what happenned that negotiations would blow up the last minute .

On Banner , his leak to Mary Kay shoots in the Browns side, spin or not , that it never happened .

Could the issue of Chud bringing the component of a Norv Turner , have influenced banners decision , to put some sheet in the game  in which he was able to hammer Whixenhunts  choice as inadequate , and the Browns discreetly changed in midstream to choose a more desirable candidate .

Who knows ,.

But one things for sure in business , it ain't over untl its over , as clients customers and contractors both will find a way to wriggle out of a deal at the last minute  if they deem the benefits outweigh the Black eye of not completing the deal .

Happens all the time , but not so much on the public stage where the press counts the sheets of toilet paper you leave after visiting the can.

The usual response is Banner effed up and we got sloppy seconds , but what if the Bastard was really that shrewd and that crude , he would cut Whiz off at the knees during a hardball negotiation and dump him and choose another route before the deed was done .

I'd have to check , but it seems Chud was in place less than 48 hours after they said goodbye to there one and only best choice , like maybe that wasn't the only one and only best choice , and the groom  gave in to his second thoughts and married his skank  office secretary instead of the high button high brow society nameplate , who really wasn't all that good in bed .

Myself , I view the not signing of Whiz who did nothing without Denny Greens QB as maybe a bullet dodge on par with the Kelley Scud.
