RE: FLACCO

I didn't think he could play lights-out three weeks in a row. Much respect.

That's what I'm talking about, he hasn't played lights out at all, not once this post season, not once.

He's played well, and put together a couple of nice stretches, that is it.  Has yet to put up a complete game at all, hell he's barely completed 50% of his passes.

A huge factor today was what's his name (DB) from NE that went down, even the post game analysis covers that aspect and how things changed from there.

Credit to Joe for making those throws with said DB out, but my God he wasn't borderline crap before that.

Flacco had 1 completion in the first quarter, 6 in that half.

8 TDs, 0 INTs over the past three weeks and a passer rating of 106.3 in the AFC championship game.

You're on an island.

FUDU, I really didn't think the issue was whether I'd take Joe Flacco over X . I thought was whether a great FO would let him walk to make cap. In that sense as a still relatively young QB just approaching his prime I'd say his performance this post season, and last for that matter, shatters that standard by any measure beyond any reason.

At this point in a quarterback league Joe Flacco is literally the last player Ozzie would let go. Whether that makes him better than Matt Stafford is irrelevant.

First, agreed, Flacco isn't going anywhere, nor should he from their perspective.

Second, we should not be willing to pay him even if he were, not us, not now, no how.

Eh, I think you and I both know that the rivalry is fueled on the gridiron.  Although I wasn't aware of just how dominant we have been on the court in the last 14-16 meetings.
