Top 5:
Who?
Brady Rogers Brees Stafford
After that...
It gets real muddy after 4. He might not be in everyone's top 5. but he is in damn near everyone's top 10.
I'd be willing to take that chance on paying Flaco for his body of work.

SD: You'd have to kidnap him at gunpoint , then convince Ozzie he was abducted by Aliens and that the guy suited up in seal and Orange and looks just like him really ain't him . Snowballs in hell , have a better chance of surviving than our chance of signing Flacco off that crafty bastard. SoulDawg

Snowball's chance? I talked to Hoover. He says Flacco is moving on...50/50 with a double digit loss to the Pats consider Blt has the oldest roster in the NFL and needs a rebuild. Ray, Reed, Boldin, Birk, Leach, McKinnee, Suggs...all 10 year men...all have seen better days...all are CAP unfriendly. That is the core of the Ravens. After that group they have Rice, Ngata and Smith. There are a lot of holes that have to be filled and very little money. The Ravens payroll for this upcoming season is 108 million. http://www.altiusdirectory.com...s-salaries.htmlBaltimore Ravens Player Salaries| Player | Pos. | 2012-13 Salary | 2013-14 Salary | Salary Cap | Team |

If Flacco's pay is to double and where does he go to build out the team? If Ozzy is not sold on Flacco and the fanbase is not sold on Flacco, will he be willing to go all in money wise to sign a QB who wants more? Wouldnt the fun part be a team floating a proposed 20million year deal for Flacco? It is what Brees got and if Blt has to come up with that kind of money...do you keep Flacco keep your money and get a first round pick? You know what? I would be willing to trade Colt McCoy for Flacco. Blt is in a bind if Flacco keeps to his guns and wants the big bucks. Playing in Blt has not been kind. He is treated as Fran Tarkenton was by the Giants' fans. Big money and a friendley fan base...yeah, Joe would like to move on. ETA....THE BROWNS 2013 payroll is 89 million. We are nearly 20 million under the Ravens and have some 48+ million in CAP space. Ravens salary is 107 million without Joe Flacco cashing in.

SD: Cmon man , don't make me slap you , just wake the eff up and ask yourself . Who starts a rebuild by dumping the only person on the roster that can play QB . With Lewis gone , this will be Flaccos' team . The rats don't have a high draft pick courtesy of fleecing some smuck outta their lunch , and dependent on the weekend will pick no higher than 28 and if Lucky could be picking last. Worse , there isn't a single QB in the draft who grades out as a first round pick although desperate teams will still pick one or two from this substandard class and try and spin it to their fan base . Better for us they get squeezed in the re-signing and we steal their lunch , by signing Ellerbe away from them . No way they let Flacco walk , sign him and trade him after they franchise him if they had too , but no effin way he walks , and I don't care who told ya otherwise. That dream must die my friend. Flacco might be top 10. Rothelsberger, Luck, RGIII, and both Mannings, and Ryan are definitely ahead of him. And I might be overstating Eli Manning a bit. I think based on future potential you'd probably have to give the nod to Cam Newton and Russell Wilson although I would take Flacco over both today.
His body of work is not very different from Schaub, Bradford, Rivers, or Romo. In my mind any of those guys could QB for the Ravens and they wouldn't gain or lose overall standings.
And yes I would want the Browns to get him if possible. He's a compentent NFL QB who can manage an offense well. He also has a pretty decent deep ball and would probably fit well in the Chud scheme.

I don't completely disagree with you Otter, but he's not worth the money we'd have to pay to get him when we could very well have Flacco 2.0 on the roster already. Weeden could easily be as good as Flacco in Chud's system, but he could easily not be also. Why pay a such a ransom, when we'll know for sure in about 10 months?

SD: Too that point , don't forget about the two #1's you'll fork over just to get him to sign that big phat contract , unless of course you think Ozzie is gonna play Santa Claus to the rest of the NFL and just let him walk for squat. Re: Mad Max
Soul, C'mon man post ...... Rackable...... Prevailing wisdom.
BUT
I was talking to Hoover. You know after the movie he left school he went to Baltimore Worked defending the guilty through the Public Defenders office. One more chance. we really need one more chance . It will work. I. Left Mass ,Now In the land of the Flacco right now and Hoover says
Flacco is the best F A Q B. For two years he has said top 5 money or I am out of here. Ravens Won't pay top 5 . Flaccid vs Brady . Flacco out played Brady 4 out of 5 Pats won 3 of 5 everyone blames Flacco. Flacco leaving is as Cutler or Tarkenton. Ozzy can't get better but the fans want someone else . In the world of Ray it is all Flaccos fault
Ozzy can break the bank for Joe or get our #6, stay well under the Cap, and 'rebuild with younger players and the draft.
Silly? Only if you have more faith in Banner than I do. Banner is the guy who broke the bank in Philly bringing in big name high priced D bs who never produced on field. Banner was the guy who blew a wad on Vick.
Someone posts herein of S F . Q B Smith. not bad. Anderson coming back behind Weeds. A lot of talk. Imo Flacco Smith, Anderson make better sense than Weeds / McCoy. And IF, IF, Flacco has a Flaccid day in Foxborough, we have an interesting off-season.

However where your logic drops off the clifft into fantasy land , is how you gonna convince Ozzie to take that blue pill down the rabbit hole and channel his inner most Josh McDaniels stooopid demon and utterly destroy and setback his franchise with such and ignorant blatant retarded mistake . SoulDawg Heard Oz will foolishly trade his bright shines Nicole for Banners dull tiny dime. Banner gets his splash. Oz gets his rebuild...draft pick, cash, Cap all in hand. More real interest is the book. Pats came out at 10 or favorites. The smart people'll e said crazy. Pats haven't won by seven in the past five. 70+ percent of the money is on the Ravens. That NEVER happens. Pats win by double digits and Vegas rakes in a ton of cash. Spread is now 8 - 8 1/2 . That makes no sense. Game should come down to a field goal. Somebody knows something. Part 'll If Brady toasts the old Ravens D and Flacco can't keep up, then what? does Oz go pistol? New O C ? can Flacco be anything other than an AIR Correal Q B ? Pitchforks and torches on 40? all the balls are in the air. Again, If and only If, Vegas is right and the smart football people are wrong .... Brady shines .... Flacco ... fails.... does any of this come into play. Smith and Flacco become the talk and neither get Manning money.
