Re: Attacking D = Reboot

When the Browns do their additions to the defense, they need to add two to three key players and some players to be developed.

Just for the sake of argument, they sign a free agent QB.

The sign Shuler, OLB, Baltimore, who starts opposite side of their pass rushing OLB.  He fits into the Cleveland Browns line-up opposite of thei pass rushing OLB, Jabaal Sheard.  They have Chris Gocong as their third OLB and can find their fourth from the roster or find a player to be developed or good quality in free agency.

The sixth pick of the first round can be Milliner, CB, Alabama.  These two major additions does not turn the defense into a top 10, but, it moves the team into a solid defense.

There is still a need for a free safety and potentially another CB.

Again, with two to three good additions and some additional players who are familiar with the 34 game, the change to a multi-front, aggressive attacking defense can happen.
