Overall a pretty motley crew.

McGinest, Roth and Washington were the only decent ones.

AA:

Willie and Ted were decent ones in their prime, and their prime wasn't in Cleveland.

And one would expect the same calling from our current FO?

AA:

Dunno.  They certainly have money to spend, but a lot of it has to do with connections to the new coaching staff, whether a player wants to get in on the ground floor, or whether they can be the missing link for a playoff contender.  Some players may have toiled with mediocre teams much of their career and don't want to put in another year or two with yet another team to see if things pan out.

When a prospective fa visits a team, he sees a lot more of the GM and Prez, and maybe a cursory lunch or dinner with the owner.  Me thinks with Cleveland, they'll be seeing a bit more of Haslam, and a bit less of Banner.
