Re: Ryan Spangler transferring from Gonzaga
He has the size and athleticism M. Hope he finds the right spot for him to achieve his goals. I am sure Coach Kruger will take a close look at him.

I'd love to have him. You can't teach size.

Re: Ryan Spangler transferring from Gonzaga
Stats can be VERY misleading. He is athletic and he has skills. A year in Coach Krugers system and he should mature nicely.

I don't know if Bennett is any good or not or how much he'll help next year, but i'm sure glad we've added another tall guy to go with the guards signed. with what we have coming back and those guards signed i'd be happy if he could just give some time off the bench to rest the starters and grab a few rebounds and block a shot or two, not everyone is a star, sometimes to win though you need good role players off the bench... I like the way things are looking for next year.

Re: Ryan Spangler, D.J. Bennett commit to Oklahoma - updated
Bennett is a good athlete and has an impressive wing span. He is a bit of a project, but kids with athletic ability and a good attitude and work ethic can become excellent help off the bench. Just look at how much C.J. Washington improved with the year in Lon's system. C.J. worked his butt off to become a contributor and he helped, not hindered , when he came in games. Bennett was rising up the charts in the last month, and Arky thought they had him.

The team should have a lot more depth next year. The guards that are coming in sound like they can add some scoring threats. Hopefully they know how to play defense otherwise they won't see the court. The transfer from Wyoming and the JC recruit should add quality depth for the starters on the frontline. The transfer might even be starting next year.

The problem is that Lon's too honest . He needs to cheat like that scumbag at Baylor.
