OT Baseball & Softball a combined 24-0

Softball team improved to 15-0 & baseball improved to 9-0 with today's come from behind win. Also, both were picks to win the conference this season.

Props to both programs, players & coaches on the great start.

Our Friday and Saturday starters are both likely going to be first round picks. Still hate the bb core bats.

Outside of Oberste I worry about our lineup's ability to consistently generate power with them. Thankfully, as you mentioned, our pitching is pretty sick up front. Pen and backend could be a little better, but our top guys are elite.

I still think they're the worst thing to ever happen to college baseball. NCAA needs to go to wooden bats and get it over with. There's a ton more pop in wood than those plastic pieces of crap.

Is it really that cost prohibitive? It's never made sense to me.

To add to how well OU athletics is doing:
Men's Gymnastics : 11-1
Women's Gymnastics:  15 - 0

How many of these events do you guys actually attend?

I go to most home baseball games and a few Softball games each year.

If you can find a way to attend more baseball games it would be nice because the baseball program would really advance as a program by having more fan support.

At OU all it takes is the right leadership to put the championship recipe together.

my wife bought season tickets to men and women's gymnastics this year (our youngest son is into the sport now) and have been attending.  Along with gym...i've attended several basketball games (men and womens) and wrestling matches this year.  Of course football is a "never miss" thing.  I do need to get to the mens baseball games some this season and some softball games.  The girls team has a legit NC opportunity this year and the men are stout as well.
