CJShipp hired by ASU
Looks like Coach Shipp has found a DL job at ASU. There are worse places to land on your feet. I wish him the best and hope he does a great job for the Sun Devils.

I'm very happy he got the job at ASU.I hope he does well there.Not a great school but maybe he can clear his mind of OU an do for them what we expected from him here.Which is make them a better team.

They've been recruiting CGraham's old stopping grounds anyway so CShipp should be able to help them in Texas.

^ LOL... My brother went to ASU.. tended bar at Binders too.. He and his crew never missed a football game... actually they never really watched any games.. just went to scope coeds...

I am very happy for Coach Shipp and his family. Tempe / Scottsdale is an outstanding area and ASU has an outstanding athletics program.
They are lucky to have you.

Good luck to coach Shipp. He's a good coach, and was a big part of our success here. Our recent deterioration on the DL wasn't completely a result of poor coaching, but this is a results business, and all coaches know that going in.

Haven't seen anything official or more than rumor so far this AM. If true, maybe will revitalize Coach Shipp. Hope the best for him and his family. He is a native son and true Sooner.

Shipp sounds like a very solid hire, hope you are all correct on him being hired at ASU. So far it is a very Hot rumor, however it sounds very likely. One of my best Pals is a Sooner, ran Track years ago there. By the way I have a great Mike Stoops Story ( I live in Tucson), I met him at a High School game one evening and said Hello, told him I was a huge ASU Fan.... he looked at me and said " we all have issues" in a straight Face.
