Great news! Bobby found his guy. Like Kittle, he will arrive in Norman with a wealth of experience under his belt. His hands-on experience makes him a great addition to the coaching staff and his players love him.

Kevin Swann IS highly thought of.  Sorry to hear that bob passed you over for a slot.  Again.

NOTE TO ANYONE ON THIS BOARD:
Spaceman is an aggie fan that has gone so far as to pose as an OU fan. He bashes players, coaches, and the conference OU plays in. Please do not respond.

And I thought Kittle had an impressive resume. Did I tell you he is an SEC guy? How did Les let him get away? I have to give Bobby a lot of credit for pulling out all stops. He is leaving no stone unturned.

Excellent.  The main reason we don't want to lose him.  Not sure how good he is as a position coach since Brady and Gmatt are both dline coaches.

Other than we are trying to keep him with counter offers no one knows anything from the UM side.  The insiders we trust won't give out any info.

Re: Stoops' strongly considering Jerry Montgomery

"If Oklahoma has offered and if Montgomery were to accept, things would very likely progress quickly with an announcement coming as early as Monday (if not sooner). Again, to be perfectly clear, we're not at that point yet but things could be trending in that direction. It would appear at the moment as though the decision is Montgomery's to make, so it's certainly still possible he says no and chooses to stay in Ann Arbor."

I read somewhere... heck maybe it was on this board, I can't remember.... but the way the assistant coaches contracts were set up on the Michigan team, if they give this guy a raise it will upset things with other coaches contracts, there are other coaches up there making similiar salaries with more responsibility that would say... hey wait a second what about me?  has anyone else seen those reports?

this is not possible. We need to verify whether not Montgomery what somehow in Bob's wedding, babysitting Bob's kids, related somehow, because we all know Bob only hires friends. Don't we?

Re: Stoops' strongly considering Jerry Montgomery

thanks, I thought i'd read that somewhere on the internet, that they were all very close in pay and that for Michigan it wasn't just a matter of bumping him up in salary, they'd have to increase the rest of the assitants as well.
