Bedenbaugh already recruiting. On the RUSH.KREF.
Teddy and Dusty gave him a big thumbsUP! Dude sounds super confident and I swear he has a Stoops bloodline. The voice and inflection gives it away.

I am enjoying his interviews. Sounds confident and hungry, sounds like he realizes what an opportunity he has here. Said he was recruiting on the first day. Has me excited. Prove me right Bedenbaugh.

Bendenbaugh in terms of coaching I don't think is an upgrade from Patton. But in terms of recruiting he definitely is. Guy was named in the top 50 best recruiters in the nation by 247 & top recruiter in the BIG 12 second to Mike Stoops by Rivals.

We need more coaches with a similar mentality.

I have to admit, I'm getting excited about the future of the OLine. 2013 might have some rough patches, though, due to the injuries at G and the loss of Lane Johnson.

Every interview I hear, I am more fired up about our OL. I expect Evans and Nila to be 100% or pretty darn close. Shead is the big question, but Evans and Nila's injuries happened early enough to expect them back by summer practice, if not spring. Depth might be the biggest question there if Shead is out for an extended time or Savage is not what we hope. Irwin is there as well, although I would prefer him not to start. Johnson will be missed, but I think Williams and Thompson are better run blockers than Johnson. Again, the big question behind them is the depth. Farniak played decent last year but needs more work. Again, will the Juco (St John) be as good as we hope. We know this much about the Juco kids. They are massive and look the part. |
