It's not really much of an update. He mentioned a few names, but promptly dismissed each one for one reason or another. What he basically said was it was being kept very quiet. I think we pretty much knew that.

Looks like Bob Stoops doing a much better job keeping this one under wraps from those news hungry journalists, as compared to the Oline coach deal. Good for him, they absolutely have no idea.  |

Maybe Bob doesn't have any idea yet either. BB was already on the board and made that an easy transition. But we have no idea if there is anyone else on the board. Chances are not or we'd have already heard about it. I think this process might be taking a little longer because of 1. how important the position is and 2. the fact that we don't have a clear settled identity on the defensive side of the ball. CBedenbaugh fits perfectly with what we want so he was probably a much easier hire.

Bob doesn’t like leakers in the program. He might be using the situation to very discreetly float a name to a suspected leaker to see if it hits the media in an effort to identify who might be leaking out information? At OU all it takes is the right leadership to put the championship recipe together. |

I'm sure he is throwing bogus names to the wind as always.
That site has crapped out years ago, and definitely more info and activity here imo.
I hear they are begging for new memberships again.
Their recruiting lead is veerrry lazy in his approach to recruiting, basically a board mod. He sounds like Goofy in interviews, duh, huh, duh, huh.

Kelly Greg would be an unbelievable hire in my opinion for defensive
tackle coach.
