Buckeye looks like Mary Jane,? Yea sure it does. The only thing they probably have in common is they're both green.

I wonder how many drug dealers have signs on their vehicles letting all potential buyers and the police know who they are.

I know on my van I have a leaf, my name and phone number and a price list for the different products I offer for sale. These kinds of things are what make people not trust LEOs. It's sad because a vast majority of LEOs do their job quietly, respectfully, and effectively.

You mean, Elvis IS NOT AROUND? Did something happen to him? Oh my! Actually, the buckeye leaves weren't put on helmets until the mid 60s. This came about because several Ohio natives were drafted to go to Vietnam and Rolling on the River, by Credence Clearwater Revival was a popular song;HOWEVER, when the young Ohions heard it sung by locals in Vietnam, the song came out, Rolling on the Reefer. So, they noticed similarities between a buckeye leaf and a reefer leaf, thus came back to Ohio with the idea of putting reefer leaves on the helmets.......true story. I still cannot believe Elvis is gone?!?!

Over reaction is an understatement.I live in Tennessee and Tennessee will probably be the last state to legalize the use of marijuana.I remember when I first moved back to Oklahoma.I was in Purcell. My wife and I were using my brothers van looking for a place to rent.Purcell police pulled us over.I wasn't speeding. The officer that pulled us over said that he'd pulled over a van from California earlier in the day packed with marijuana.I told him not everyone that lives in California was a drug trafficker. He ask to check the van,I of course let him.He found nothing.Where a person used to live or if their license plate says California doesn't give a police officer the right to think everyone from California smokes pot or is a drug trafficker. Some police let their badge go to their head.It gives the police a bad persona.

I live mostly in SoCal & don't even drink. It's not because of a moral issue. I'm just pretty happy & content being clear headed. As far as pot goes, I've tried that (not in CA) & feel the same as with drinking. They have the medical pot here, but it's not at all wide spread or even allowed to be sold in most communities. It's something you'd have to search out.

I lived in Long Beach back in the 80's.Pretty easy to it get back then.haha.Moved back to Oklahoma in 89.That's when I had the problem with the Purcell police.I miss SoCal and the beach's a lot.

Re: Ohio St helmet decal linked to marijuana??
It is amazing if you watch cops that every time they pull someone over with a bad tail light or doing 90 in a school zone they have drugs. I don't know about you guys but if I have 20 lbs of marijuana I would do a walk around inspection of the car and set the cruise control or maybe even wake up at 6am and go in the morning. lol

Last I looked we still are trying to be a free country, but it is becoming more of a police state everyday.

Don't drive on I-40 in western OK also. Nothing but cops stopping people and doing searches of vehicles. 918sooner wrote: It is amazing if you watch cops that every time they pull someone over with a bad tail light or doing 90 in a school zone they have drugs.
