Too bad Wilson got cherry picked from MSU. He'd be pretty good.
Heck if it's a true WISH list... lets get Lovie Smith back to Oklahoma!

Chris Wilson did not leave OU on good terms. He will never be back on this staff.

I don't know what the deal is with that guy He burnt bridges on his way out the door from his alma mater (Oklahoma) without recognizing that Bob helped him get the job and appearently he did the same thing leaving MSU to Georgia.

If we're going after college guys and we've got the money I'd go for no less than Brick Haley at LSU. Who do ya'll like from NCAA, NFL, wherever? You want fire? You want passion? You want someone who loves OU? Dusty D baby!

Wilson was horrible. Someone inside the program said "the only thing worse than not having a DL coach at all is having Chris Wilson as your DL coach". Never be back at OU.

Great recruiter though 15 less rushing touchdowns in 2012 compared to 2011 (from 32 to 17). From 5.1 YPC allowed to 4.4. Not outstanding, but better in year one. 7 starters back on D (2 DL/3LBs), I expect more improvement.

I have no clue but I would hope he's a little young, ambitious with a good deal of knowledge of the positions he's going to coach.

Re: So you're picking the Dline coach - who do you go after?
I can tell you this... not only would I aim high as far as interviewing the best out there, I would have a sitdown with a couple guys like Harbaugh to see what they think and who they might recommend. I wouldn't even consider anymore Arizona spinoffs. Maybe if they did something more than boast a couple of bowl trips, but they did nothing as a staff that impresses me.

I thought the same thing about Dvorcek. I think he could do it. SoonerPhan wrote:

rebelreal wrote: So you're picking the Dline coach - who do you go after? This obscure individual - the sister of Bob, Mike and Mark who the Stoops family typically doesn't like to talk about. She can sure play some D-line, though. I'll bet she can coach and recruit, too. Got a problem with women coaching football? Get over it. And who the heck cares if she doesn't wear a shirt?
