Let's assume a higher assistant budget is going to be approved.
If we're going after college guys and we've got the money I'd go for no less than Brick Haley at LSU. Who do ya'll like from NCAA, NFL, wherever?

Is he (CTLupoi) that highly regarded as a coach though?

Lupoi? Based on what he did at Cal, I'd say so. Pretty sure UW did very well against Stanford's running game last season, also. He and Justin Wilcox were an upgrade over Holt and it showed in their first season.

Holt was so bad, though.

I like Lupoi too, but he isn't worth what he makes. He is at 500k per at UW, just looked it up. That is stupid for a position coach that is questionable in terms if developing talent.

Yeah, that is ridiculous. He isn't worth that, I don't care what kind of recruiter he is.

rebelreal wrote: Chris Rumph coaches the 3-4 at Bama. I was going to say either the Bama DL coach, but for him to leave that job he'd want to go up a level from where he is, say DC. So maybe the Bama DE coach... I would also consider hiring the DL coach from Stanford too.
My goal in life is to be half as good a person as my dog already thinks I am.
