So...does the '13 class end with...
A Bang or Whimper ?
A Bang would be a combo of 4 or 5 of these recruits: Dorian Johnson, Donovan Munger, Shelton Gibson, James Quick, Robert Foster, Von Bell, Mike Mitchell, Marquez North, CWorley
A Whimper would be 1...at most 2 of the above...
I''ll be an optimist and say Bang...

Not sure.
Bucks are at 17 commits right now, and understanding that the math can get tricky relative to early enrollment foreseen attrition and the self-imposed and NCAA sanctions, I'm not entirely sure how many more spots are left...
Which is to say due to circumstances, it might already have been decided.

Which is to say due to circumstances, it might already have been decided. Just like any other year except we are working with 82 instead of 85. 18 spots now so 1 open but expecting at least 3 more to be. Probably a class of 21-22 on NSD. |

Munger and Gibson are almost certainly Buckeyes,IMO. FSU might be making more noise for Mitchell given their great season so far and the fact that he has a teammate already headed to Tallahassee. If we got those 3 I would call it a class and be very happy. If anything, I'd like to see anothe pure CB added to the class, at the expense of any of those 3 players, if the talent level was similar.
There's a certain kind of reassuring white rock....and some people do well with that.....

Not sure about Munger but i see Gibson and Worley as Buckeyes
Vonn Bell and Mike Mitchell are the next closes.
Keep an eye on Daniel McMillan Gator commit we have chance here might be a small chance but if he visits you never know

Who are your 3 ? Seems to me the most likely 3 would be: 1. Munger (even with DL stacked in this class...hard to say no to him since he can play DL or OL)... 2. Gibson 3. I know the 2014 class looks amazing already for LBs, but it'd be great to get a big talent in this class that could provide at least some good special teams play and perhaps be a good backup in a pinch.

i'm really concerned that we won't get Mike Mitchell just because of the scholarship crunch, seems like they are trying to wait for a visit but don't have one set yet. really want that kid not just because we need a guy with his kind of upside in the linebacking corps, but because i REALLY want to see his brother wearing the S&G for our basketball team (Mickey is currently a Top 10 player in the '15 BB class).

Big unofficial visitor James Quick will be at the Nebraska game.
Daniel McMillain Florida commit is down to Ohio St and well Florida.
He will use his official visit for the Michigan game.

He will use his official visit for the Michigan game. Awesome news, I'd love to land Quick. We NEED a guy like him for the spread who plays on the outside. Sebastian LaRue a USC commit whose film is just as impressive as Quick is visiting as well. I don't know if it has any legs but I don't know exactly if we've given up on Johnson or if we are in on Pocic again, I've seen it thrown around. I think we end with Gibson, Mitchell, Quick, Bell and Worley/and or a surprise flip or two. |

GO BUCKS !!! As a poet myself I appreciate the T.S. Eliot reference. As a analyzer of recruiting I would say we end with a small Bang, not a huge one. Will will probably get Gibson, Mitchell, One of (Quick, Foster, North,), and Vonn Bell. I dont see Dorian getting swayed from Pitt. |
