Buckeye Recruits Week 4 Stats

Darron Lee

"Quarterback Darron Lee scored four touchdowns on the ground and threw for two more to lead New Albany (2-2, 1-0) over host Olentangy Orange (2-2, 0-1) in the OCC Capital.

Lee scored on runs of 10, 5, 58 and 28 yards and connected with Carson Tunney and Joe Siegenthaler for 10 and 79 yards, respectively."

Jalin Marshall:

7/15 for 40 yards, 1 TD
10 carries, 91 yards, 2 TD

J.T. Barrett:

"Barrett finished with 119 yards rushing on 22 carries. He was 15 of 27 for 206 yards passing with one touchdown."

"
And even when the Rider defense came up with key stops in the second half there was still the chore of going 85 yards in the final 4:24.

But Barrett came back from throwing two interceptions to lead the game-winning drive and dive in from the 1 for the game-winner with nine seconds left."

"J.T. is as good as advertised, maybe even a little better," Amarillo coach Mel Maxfield said. "And he had a great game last year in Amarillo. It's not a surprise. I was impressed with his patience and his ability to find his secondary receivers."

Evan Lisle:

"I watched Evan Lisle play at the Lebanon vs. Centerville game tonight. He is every bit of 6'5 265, but in shape, no extra weight hanging off. Centerville ran the ball almost exclusively, and submarine blocked quite a bit-diving at the DLs ankles to take them out, but Evan consistently blew his man backwards, as Centerville ran the ball almost at will, keeping Lebanon in the game w/ a couple of inopportune fumbles. I think Evan's best position is probably RT."

Joey Bosa:

"I was at the game tonight doing audio for the broadcast. Bosa was VERY impressive . At his size you see prospects just live off the talent gap. He is FUNDAMENTALLY sound and is seamless using 1, 3 5 and even 9 techniques. It created a bit of confusion on double teams and his brother (you heard is name called a bunch) and rest of Dline got the present. coming in expecting to see one of the best Dline prospects in the country and was not disappointed. Again his fundamentals are rock solid with some good pass rush moves. Only thing i saw was he seemed to take a play off her or there."

Elliott plays today. Baugh played Thursday. His team lost pretty bad, and the local paper article had no stats for the game.
