RE: Robert Foster

Would be SWEET to land Foster !  I know many folks are weary of Foster with his loose cannon attitude but I have to believe Urban can tame him and become a better person.

In addition to Foster...very likely Quick or Gibson will come on board and this offense will be down right frightening with Foster, Quick / Gibson, JMarshall, EElliot, TJacobs and MBaugh.  I'd hate to be the opponent's def-coordinator in trying to defend this offense !!!

Re: Robert Foster

The Illinois game? Talk about a low profile visit game. Still don't believe Meyer will take him. Maybe its a test visit to see how things go, I still think he is 95% to Pitt.

Re: Robert Foster

I think everyone knows that Ohio State needs elite speed and Foster has it.  If he comes in with he right attitude then love to see him in a Buckeye uniform.

He may have favored Pitt but they are 4-4 versus a 9-0 Buckeye team.  Ohio State is watched nationally which is the fame Foster seeks.  I would not be surprised to see Foster commit to tOSU.

Just don't see this one as a good fit.
lol.  You are speaking like you know Foster personally, which you don't.  You don't know the young man's circumstances, so don't judge him.  Obviously the staff thinks he has done enough to warrant an offer and be apart of the Buckeye family as Foster has OSU in his final 3, so that is good enough for me.  It appears Foster has gotten his act together, and OSU wants him.

Re: Robert Foster

Robert Foster, the heavily-recruit receiver at Central Valley, is close to making his college choice. But maybe not.

Foster visited the University of Alabama this weekend and last night on his Twitter account wrote "I think I'm ready to COMMIT." He also "tweeted" that his mother likes Pitt and his father likes Alabama. Foster had also said Ohio State was his other finalist, but this looks like a Pitt-'Bama game.

But it turns out that Foster is NOT be ready to commit.Central Valley coach Mark Lyons was going to meet with Foster late this morning. Lyons said Foster was still going to make a visit to Pitt and the Pitt coaches were working hard this morning to make sure that visit still occurred in the future. Then a short while ago, Foster tweeted "I may have spoke to soon. I will to take my official visits then make a decision. This will be my last tweet concerning this matter"

Apparently Foster's "tweet" about a possible commitment caused a lot of commotion. Foster also "tweeted" that he will not announce his college choice on Twitter. Good decision. Lyons also has an idea - and I totally agree with it: Stop tweeting anything about recruiting. Many times, all it does is create unneeded commotion.

Rather him go to Pitt than Alabama. Hate it when the SEC gets northern kids, stay home

Re: Robert Foster

If we do have a realistic shot, I just hope the rumors about him being a bit of a headcase aren't true. If we have no shot I would prefer to see him at Pitt rather than Bama. For all the talent there is in the SEC states, one of the main reasons it's the best league is because it's able to get elite recruits from outside its region.

I agree but sometimes you can take the kid out of the hood but you just can't take the hood out of the kid (not a racist nor meant to be racist, my dad lived in the hood and we are Lebanese and sometimes you can't take the hood out of me tongue) Would love to have him if he shaped up his attitude, hopefully he does.

Re: Robert Foster

Foster visiting for Illinois-OSU game. When Foster actually gets a detailed view of the campus and facilities and sees the trouncing OSU puts on Illinois, don't be surprised when Foster renames OSU his leader.  17 yo kids change their minds all the time.  This race is not over.

2014 recruiting wish list
1. Kyle Allen
2. Jamarco Jones
3. Raekwon McMillan
