Your TOP remaining '13 recruit...

With all things considered such as position of need...who's your #1 top recruit to be included in the class ?

To me it's VERY close between Quick and Johnson.  Since OSU has Marshall & Jacobs...I'll lean with Dorian Johnson.

Who's your #1 ?

GO BUCKS !!!

I'd have to go with either Johnson or Bell. Quick is an excellent player with the talent to be an All American, but OSU has some great player makers already in the fold with the guys you stated as well as Elliot. There's Mitchell too, I almost forgot about him.

I guess I'll say Johnson as well. The importance of having a strong OL can't be understated.

Vonn Bell.

We aren't exactly loaded at safety and the last piece I see to some amazing defenses. DL is set, got some good young LBs and if not this year then 2014 we'll load up, big time corners, need that big time safety. Thompson could be 1 possibly or Burrows but Bell just looks like the real deal. Great range and big time hitter, would be a huge pickup.

too hard, I will say Johnson since I believe football is won in the trenches first, but Bell Is amazing and so is Quick. Very close and any one of these guys would be great

Vonn Bell.

When was the last time we landed a 5* safety from the south or just in general?

Re: Your TOP remaining '13 recruit...

1) Bell - It's either OSU or Tenn, hopefully Urban can pull it off
2) Mitchell - High upside linebacker prospect that looks like he's all OSU
3) Quick/Gibson - Would love to have Quick but not sure he comes here, it's either OSU or UL. Gibson would be a great consolation prize as long as he can get grades in order.
4) Johnson - Don't think he is coming here or else he would be higher on my list. Probably Pitt.
5) Lewis - All OSU. Could be a great pass rusher.
6) Worley - Sleeper prospect from Glennville. Could be a good OLB at the next level. He's all OSU if the offer is for real.

Vonn Bell, but all of the remaining recruits are needed to contribute at Ohio State or Urban wouldn't be recruiting them, obviously.

2014 recruiting wish list
1. Kyle Allen
2. Jamarco Jones
3. Raekwon McMillan

Ignore

Re: Your TOP remaining '13 recruit...

First choice would be Quick, Foster or North. I would take any of the three although I think Quick is more of a slot receiver. Foster did not show any maturity on his spring visit and I think the staff has cooled on him. North would be a great outside deep threat. Not sure he wants to leave the south.

As a second choice I would take Bell. We need a hard hitting playmaker at safety. He would be a great addition to this defensive class. Nothing against Mitchell but Bell looks to be able to carry 200 lbs plus and lock down the deep end of the field.

Bell, our safeties don't inspire confidence right now. He can step in and be a factor from day one.

It has sure been a long time since we had a commit. I would love to see any of the ones mentioned and hopefully soon.

Re: Your TOP remaining '13 recruit...

Robert Foster

James Quick

Marquez North

All three.  Boom WRs galore just what the doctor ordered....Dr. Urban Meyer that is.

All three still list Ohio State high, North still is visiting and does not mention UNC or Clemson in his 5 officials.

Quick may be a tough pull from D'Ville I think Bridgewater looking good helps their cause.

Foster at one time seemed not in the plans but it seems now he may be.

Never argue with an idiot, people watching may not be able to tell the difference.

Defense is always more important.....then OL.....

Thus Bell, Mitchell, Johnson

RE: Your TOP remaining '13 recruit...

Ezekiel Elliot, Jalin Marshall (this is gonna be our guy, the next counter specialist: http://youtu.be/9qhg9YsKkxc), Taivon Jacobs, and if he meets the academic requirements, Shelton Gibson...we already have some good potential playmakers coming in. We are sitting at 16 commits right now, and from the research, it looks like we'll be signing 20-22 guys this class, and it also seems like we'll be signing Tyquan Lewis. So with Gibson and Lewis making it a projected 18,  that is 2-4 spots.

Offense wins games, defense wins championships. And it all starts in the trenches.

1. Vonn Bell
2. Dorian Johnson
3. Mike Mitchell
4a. Robert Foster
4b. James Quick
4c. Marquez North
