Pitt is a freakin pithole. If Johnson goes there he'll start day one but other major programs can offer way more. Hell I bet he'll have a better opportunity to get to the NFL under Meyer than Chryst.

close to home, and playing in the acc vs the u,clemson,va tech, and fsu will be a huge selling point,i wonder how good pitt can be if they put up a recruiting fence around western PA?

Big East not ACC. Pitt has proximity and nothing else.

Nope. Can't keep up with this realignment, and for teams like pitt i dont make any attempt. Plus that move makes no sense to me.

ACC has added Pitt and Syracuse to go to 14 teams.

ACC, which is predominantly located on the Atlantic Coast from South Florida to Mid Atlantic, with the exception of Boston College, added two Northeastern states who have a large combined population, and are somewhat inland.

This was a pretty good pickup for the ACC. However, if FSU and Clemson, etc... leave for Big 12, SEC, or Big 10 ACC will be back down to 12 teams and looking at current Big East teams like UC, Louisville, Memphis, etc... for expansion.

Pitt and Syracuse not going  ACC until 2014 IIRC.  That would mean Johnson is already a sophomore and his college career almost over.  Not really a selling point.  The Big10 is much better with Ohio State anyway.

2014 recruiting wish list
1. Kyle Allen
2. Jamarco Jones
3. Raekwon McMillan

It's only gonna help our cause if Pitt keeps playing like this.

Thank you seniors for your hard work and dedication. Champions in our minds, and champions in our hearts.

if he's so sold on Pitt, he would have committed already.  It's still up in the air whether he wants to go to Pitt or Ohio STate.  He is going to visit OSU and will make a decision after that.  OSU still has a good chance to land him, despite the "world is falling" pessimism noted by various random internet posters that have never even met the kid.

Absolute Bullsh*t. Ginn didnt verbal right away does that mean he wasnt sold on Ohio State? Same with Miller, Washington, etc some kids like playing recruiting games. Johnson told a pitt website they lead even after getting beat down by Pitt.
