RE: OT: Iggy vs Morris
Note these 4/5 star recent cannot miss Michigan QB's, from below talent par Michigan: 5 star Gardner, 4 star Robert Bolden and 4 star Joe Boisture (all went to Elite 11 as well I believe), none have done squat to date or made a dent against anyone worth a plug nickel to validate their hype. Add Shane Morris to that list in the near future.

Yep, Morris is a camp sensation and a fraud with pads. He cannot even dominate woeful Michigan HS talent, Henne and Morelli are smiling watching this overrated camp warrior continue to stink it up in pads. wcbuckeye80 wrote: Morris doesn't have it. and he is part of that team...the leader, the most imporant position and he doesn't make up for much. JonCJG wrote: Again talent being equal, or close to equal, Morris is a stud. But his TEAM, T-E-A-M is overmatched. He's pressing because they don't have a chance unless he makes things happen. Not one Michigan fan is concerned.

If um had to rely on meatcicken HS talent it would be a MAC program. It's best players and coaches have been from Ohio. Detroit is a third-world country.

As soon as he hears those footsteps he gets scared and erratic. He won't like going against Schutt, Pittman, Washington, Spence, Shazier, Marcus, Miller, Bennett, Bosa, Sprinkle, Hill, or Hand (hopefully).
2014 recruiting wish list 1. Kyle Allen 2. Jamarco Jones 3. Raekwon McMillan

Re: OT: Iggy vs Morris
Look at his Junior stats. He really doesn't dominate anyone. A 5 star player should impose his will on high school kids. Morris likes to run his mouth, but really has never anything worth mentioning in pads. --------------------------------------------- --- brutus79 wrote: Yep, Morris is a camp sensation and a fraud with pads. Reminds me a lot of Rob Schoenhoft. Bad body (I know we aren't selling jeans here, but still), camp warrior but plays like Jane in real games. Schoenhoft may have thrived at Delaware but concussions did him in. wcbuckeye80 wrote: Look at his Junior stats. He really doesn't dominate anyone. His T-E-A-M is #4 in Mich--------------------------------------------- Ignatius is #1 in Ohio and Ohio football is much better than Michigan football. LaManna had 367 yards and 4 TDs on 18-24 passing in a little over 2 quarters. I'm sure he'll start to get noticed, but I doubt he's that much better than a national recruit. Their team was just overmatched all over the place.

Must have been a pretty rough weekend for sugar Shane.. After watching his future team get taken to the wood shed last night, he could relate what it's like to be playing a team that's in an entirely different league..

JonCJG, "Losing to Bama might very well could happen but so what? It's better than opening up with a cupcake."
you mean like playing Appalachian State early in the season? oh thats right you couldnt handle that cupcake.... or like Toledo maybe? What matters is what happens throughout the season and November 24th. By the end of the day of the 24th youll have little to smile about when reflecting on your season.

RE: OT: Iggy vs Morris
Why is Northwestern and Illinois out?
NW is WAY better than Michigan on offense - but they have no defense - same as Michigan.
Illinois actually looked okay, considering how bad PSU and Michigan looked.
MSU - Nebraska and NW are the best of the west.
OSU and Purdue are the best of the east.
Looks like Nebraska vs. Purdue in the BIG Championship game.
