OSU Recruits: Week 1 Stats
James Quick had 10 rec 246 yards 2 TD tonight # wow
Add stats/box scores/tweets/etc as you see them.

Went to Fitch/WGH. Not sure where price will play but didnt really stand out in either side of the ball in a game changing way all night, struggled with quicker guys on the outside. Made some really key tackles to help fitch win but i wasnt that impressed at least when he was on the OL. He wont get too much work at pass protection as Fitch runs the ball alot out of the spread. Vs the run when he was on the DL he was solid, vs the pass he was double teamed alot

Wow. Yeah, can't wait until he dons the Scarlet & Gray. I don't know anything about St. X's defense, but they're always a powerhouse team. Its a shame JM didn't run one more time on the last play.

St.X always has a very stout defense-I was shocked to see Marshall putting up those types of stats. Hopefully Jalen will get some more national publicity,everyone in SW Ohio already knows he is something spectacular. There's a certain kind of reassuring white rock....and some people do well with that.....

Heard Joey Bosa missed tonights game with a leg injury, little brother started for him 6'1 200 DE as a soph. Father says he's bigger then Joey was at 15.
Not a buckeye recruit but Warren Howlands RB Smith had something like 330 yards and 4 TDs last night

Kyle Allen and Mark Andrews, Class of 2014 recruits out of Scottsdale Desert Mountain, connected twice tonight on two 40yd TD passes. However, not a Div 1 recruit, my friends son, also a JR, ran for 140 yards and 3 TD's so that was cool. The benefit of being a running back on a great passing team. Anyway, Allen and Andrews were good, especially Andrews who was a man among boys out there. He is the prospect I could see fitting in with us most of all...great TE/WR type.

*Barker(Drew) was 5-for-12 for 211 yards and two touchdowns, and he led the team in rushing with 62 ground yards and a TD on 14 carries.

Pretty good showing. Probably figure in 1 or 2 drops but you gotta think if he was just throwing deep passes or his WR are good at getting YAC

Tra Chapman had over 500 yards of offense last night. Not a bad night for the Pitt recruit.
