OLine 

Two Oline recruits signed thus far.  Does Gardner switch to Dline?  

5 last year wuth Decker and Dodson highlighting the Olinemen.  Joey OConner, Boren, and Elflein are projects?  Boren in 2 deep because no one else to fill the slot?  

I know there is a lot of time until Feb... UM will not have a bowl to prepare in January...  just a thought.

I thought there were raving reviews of boren and oconnor - so much that they shoved bobek off campus - is this not the case??

There was immediate buzz about Decker and Boren.
Virtually nothing on Eflien, OConner and Dodsen.
Not sure when OConner got hurt.

Almost NO OL come into college ready to play at a high level-a year or two in the program before significant PT is a virtual given for virtually every OL, unless depth is just a disaster.Boren in 2 deep because no one else to fill the slot?  Maybe he actually outplayed Bobek and Bobek saw the writing on the wall..........

What!  Gardner is not going to the defense. We need offensive linemen and you want to move someone before they get a chance. No way!

O'Conner, Boren, and Elflein all have talent. Its developing that talent that will take a few years to really see what they bring to the table. Nice finish with the 2 OT last year.

Boren is in the 2 deep at the expense of Brian Bobek, who has since transferred.

If you think Boren is a "project" you haven't been paying attention to Justin Boren, and Zach Boren.

It doesn't appear that Meyer has any qualms about moving players from one side to another as Chris Carter went to DLine from OLine, and Chase Farris went to OLine from DLine, and Reid Fragle went from TE to OT, etc... etc...

I don't know what will become of Gardner. Some think Billy Price will move from DLine to OLine.

Again, Meyer moves players from one line to the other the way Tressel used to move players between CB and WR, and vice versa. Of course CB, and LB was Tressel's baby in terms of quantity of recruits, just like it appears that DLine is Meyer's baby in terms of quantity of recruits. 

I think OSU will be fine at OLine. Recruiting and coaching probably couldn't have been any worse the past 5-6 years or so, and yet OSU still had very good teams. New coaches will get much more out of OLine. When recruits take notice OSU will have good coaching and recruits.

And how many OL do we lose after this season?  Can't bring more in than you have scholarships.  And there are two I can think of they are still recruiting.  

We are also deeper at DL - i.e. Gardner not planned there.
