RE: Joey Bosa and Mike Heuerman
Always a chance to flip a kid who has many friends on the team already and the other school who he is committed to has a coach knew for being a hot head.

RE: Joey Bosa and Mike Heuerman
it seems like there has been a lot of siblings to play here the last couple of years (Homans,Borens,Williams and Reeves are step brothers?, and the Huermans?)

Re: Joey Bosa and Mike Heuerman
honestly, with Urban's offense, I'm surprised we didn't recruit 2 TEs this year. Because Urban doesn't use FB traditionally, you sometimes see 2 TE sets with 1 in motion. Heuerman would be a good fit especially after this year losing Fragel to OL, Stoney to graduation, and we don't even know how the freshman kid from Cleveland is going to turn out. Meyer didn't even recruit him, BTW.
2014 recruiting wish list 1. Kyle Allen 2. Jamarco Jones 3. Raekwon McMillan
Ignore list: Naplesbuckeye2002

RE: Joey Bosa and Mike Heuerman
I really don't think we need this kid... at all.
It's one that I really don't care whether he flips or not.
We need game breakers right now.

Re: Joey Bosa and Mike Heuerman
I completely agree with ohpeeum. It would be a waste of a spot at this point. They need to fill out the remaining spots with needs and playmakers. Plus the TEs in 2014 are pretty good (Jeb Blazowich)

Re: Joey Bosa and Mike Heuerman
Mike Heuerman is athletic enough to be used like Stoneburner is right now, while Baugh can be more of the traditional TE. No one is better at getting balls in the hands of H backs and TE's than Meyer, no one. Those reverse directions shovel passes along the line of scrimmage to Hernandez killed teams. Got to love Bosa, though. Kid is an absolute brute and athletic wrecking crew as a DL, and he is all OSU. If we could steal Heuerman, doubt TE is even a real need in 2014, unless a real elite comes, that would allow focusing on OL, WR and 2 QB's more.

I'm with the rest of you, wouldn't focus on flipping this guy if he wants to come then you consider it but don't waste resources on him. He made his choice.

Re: Joey Bosa and Mike Heuerman
So let me ask this question.....would you guys be OK if Heuerman were to flip, which would take away one of the WR spots, and therefore only getting 1 of Gibson, Quick, Timmons, North, etc.? Then try to bring in 3 WRs in the 2014 class?

Re: Joey Bosa and Mike Heuerman
Heuerman isn't going anywhere. He's as strong a commit as they come. Just like Bosa said that, Heuerman tells fans that he's going to flip Bosa to ND as well.
Neither are happening. They're just playing around, smack talking on Twitter.

Baugh is more likely to be Stoney..maybe a move to WR. At The Opening Baugh was fantastic. Mike Heuerman is more of a blocker than Baugh. Jeff is the better receiver of the two brothers.
Maybe tomorrow, when today will be yesterday things will be clearer.
