So, what about 2014?
Since its been slow around here for the last 45 mins or so, thought I would ask. How are things shaping up for The Ohio State University for 2014?

No vacation for Meyer. Now is the time to strike while the iron is hot.

Re: So, what about 2014?
Looking good on tons of elite recruits
Most notably Jalen Hurd, Marshon Lattimore, Drake Harris, Raekwon McMillain, Clifton Garret, japril Peppers, Deashaun Watson, Berger, Booker, Trout, etc.....
Good year to be a Buckeye

Re: So, what about 2014?
Based on what Urban said during his 3PM presser today, it would not surprise me if he has four or five (he has one already) top OL national recruits verballed by the end of April. He stated that is his highest priority for next year.

RE: So, what about 2014?
It would be nice to get a OL haul like the Brew crew in 2008. Kicker with 55 - 60 yd fg range and can kick it out of the end zone. Punter than can bury the other team inside the 10 or boot it 50 to 60 yds consistantly.
I'm not asking for much ha h

Re: So, what about 2014?
Land Watson, Hurd, Lattimore, Harris, Peppers, Blanding, Lorenzo Carter, McMillan, any elite OL, and the rest is gravy. (Yes I know the chances of getting all those 9 5* guys is slim.)

We already got Jones locked up, and Trout is a lock.
Off to a good start

Re: So, what about 2014?
Is Jones that big of a Buckeye lean ? I sure hope so as OL is such as position of need for '14. Marcelys Jones, Trout and Jamarco Jones would be a GREAT start for '14 i otterbeinbuckeye wrote:

Off to a good start Jemarco Jones is far from a lock. A year ago at this time people were saying the same thing about Ethan Picic, Jaylon Smith, etc. Stop making false claims.

How many offensive linemen do you guys think we take?
Would it be ridiculous to suggest as many as six?

Would it be ridiculous to suggest as many as six? I don't think we go as many as 6 unless Meyer gets 6 that are at the top of his list. Another need will be LBs.
