What's your source on Kelly to the Browns? Mary Kay or Tony Grossi.Or any of the other beat writers and insiders haven't tweeted it yet.

Thanks. I am seeing more and more tweets now. Rapaport from ESPN is saying they are close to a deal, and Tony Rizzo is tweeting about being pretty much a done deal

Naught a chance. He was just quoted if Kelly leaves he has a good relationship with the Coach who will ne named interm coach. Kelly is still Oregon's coach. No new on him taking Browns job

100% wrong on all accounts
For on he doesn't know who the HC would be
Second its being reported by everyone Kelly is the Browns HC

An assistant is being named interim coach, if,, if, Kelly leaves. I'll be shocked if he is a Buckeye.

They know who the new head coach will be.   They are promoting from within (their offensive coordinator) if Kelly bolts, which reports seem to indicate is imminent.   I think Wilson remains a Duck, but only time will tell for sure...

FWIW in a premium article on TOS, Wilson was quoted saying he'd look around (and specifically at OSU) if Kelly left.

If Campbell leaves then I think Wilson will be a possibility. IMO he is committed to Campbell more than Chip. He is a talent but RB is a position in which we have a wealth of talent. It would be a good problem to have but come on..geez...we are SO deep at that position.

Looks like this ship has sailedbanghead Oh well, no need to be greedy if we get quick, mitchell and bell

ESPN 150 athlete and Ducks commit Dontre Wilson (DeSoto, Texas/DeSoto) is ready to close the book on his recruitment and is fully committed to Oregon, whether or not Chip Kelly remains the coach of the program.

Reports had surfaced throughout Friday's Under Armour All-America Game in St. Petersburg, Fla., that Kelly is close to accepting the top coaching position with the Cleveland Browns.

“Coach Kelly is a tremendous coach and he’s had a great run at Oregon to help put that program on the map,” Wilson said. “But the players are in place and the program is rolling now. Coach [Mark] Helfrich and coach [Gary] Campbell are still there and that’s the big thing for me.”

Will be interesting to see if he takes the visit.  From the sound of things he didn't buy what Texas was selling earlier so this is kind of an interesting development.

I think it might just be vacation time for Wilson because I think he has already made up his mind. Hope I'm wrong but I think he stays with the webb feet.

It was a numbers thing.  We planned to take one RB in this class.  We offered Wilson and Kyle Hicks, also from the Metroplex, at the same time back in February.  It was a case of "first to commit gets the ship".  Hicks committed and Wilson no longer had a spot.  Fast forward a few months and Hicks decides he would rather stay closer to home and commits to TCU leaving us to re-open the RB position.  The staff then starts pursuing Wilson a bit more, we hire RB coach Larry Porter who went on a recruiting rampage and that gets us here.

Getting Wilson on campus is a big deal but it will be a tough sell.  We've had half a dozen Dontre Wilson type athletes in recent years and none have been all that productive.  Major has to sell Wilson on that changing and he does have the bowl game to cite as a big example of that change, but that is one game up against several seasons of poor production.  The one thing we really have going is that we have always had a strong pipeline to DeSoto and we have several young players on the roster right now who would have been teammates of Wilson's at DeSoto.  We'll see how it goes but I'm not entirely optimistic.
