Is going premium worth it?
i see the discounted price on the front page and just curious what are some peoples thoughts on it. I've never tried it and am thinking about getting it for the discount on the front page

Re: Is going premium worth it?
I wouldn't get Premium for a team that I don't root for, even at a discounted price. But that seems like something you might like.

RE: Is going premium worth it?
I mean, if you spend a lot of time on the board and ten bucks a month doesn't put you out at all, then I think it's worth it.
If you absolutely want to be on top of what is going on while it's happening, then yes, it's worth it.
If you don't care about the behind the scenes stuff and just want to know what happens in the end, then no, probably not worth it.
On top of all the regular Ohio State beat guys, writers and scouts from all over the network will pop in and answer questions about recruits. The type of stuff you get from nevada is usually worth the price alone, and is not always directed specifically at Ohio State football.
I've had it for a year and I'm very satisfied with it.

The recruiting information is excellent.
If you are a Buckeye and want more information and less discussion thread mindless banter I recommend
You can cancel when you like, they have been very responsive

Re: Is going premium worth it?
If you like recruiting its definitely worth it. Right now it's recruiting 24/7. If basketball and off topic discussions are more your thing, not a huge difference. Not sure how long the special price is for, but you could just try the free trial.

Re: Is going premium worth it?
I don't have a ton of time to peruse the boards and other sites for info, so it has been perfect for me because it is generally centralized source for info.

RE: Is going premium worth it?
You can pay monthly, though I think it's cheaper if you pay the one year fee.

Re: Is going premium worth it?
I've considered it myself. If they cut the price by 25% I bet they would more then double their subscribers.

Re: Is going premium worth it?
I had it for about 6 months, would never get it again. Not worth the price, if you know where to look you can get the info just as quickly.

No. If you follow guys like Matk Givler on Twitter, you get the info just as fast. Save the. dough, invest in beer.

Re: Is going premium worth it?
Hineygate as a message board is terrible
The quality of discussion on the paid board is worth the price of admission IMO

Re: Is going premium worth it?
If you're looking for recruiting info its only going to get you the news a couple days ahead of time.
I'm on it mainly for the discussions and being able to avoid certain posters.
