There's been plenty of action for Buckeye fans, and none of it has been good (although we've hung onto everyone so far). 

If you're looking for actual flips, Nebraska lost a recruit.  McWilson I think.

I'm thinking that NLOID may be a bit of a downer, based largely on what Vonn Bell decides to do... but that our action may be mostly shortly after NLOID, with a flurry of 2014 commits.

Kind of like NLOID 2005, when we were all licking our wounds over losing out on Jason Gwaltney and Rico McCoy, and then Beanie Wells committed to the 2006 class the following day. Memories...

All I have seen lately in negative stories related to OSU lately. You have one commit who seems to be wavering, another recruit selected a lesser program, and third recruit who is pushing the decision to the last day, who will probably decide to spurn Urban's offer.

This recruiting year has been jacked up.

Let's just hope Urban can do something in the next week or so. I really don't want to see this board melt down with threads of "Urban can't close" like we saw during the Tressel years.

I really don't believe we will see much movement on the recruiting front until next week. I'm sure most have made up their minds by now, but are just seeking attention. These drama queens  have held out this long, I'm sure most will wait for a last minute announcement in order to get the biggest reaction. The national media will be more than willing to assist in getting them the attention they seek. There may be a few waiting to see what other recruits do, in order to make a better choice for themselves, but most just love the attention.

Most New commits are going to hold off until Signing Day, it's only a week away, and ESPN will be in Columbus for the event.

We are Ohio Freaking State! We have studs lining up to come here and coaches that know football. We'll be fine, competing for BIG and national championships, with or without these attention getters! Life is damn good. Enjoy it.

Hell yeah! Actually the OP was in jest to the drama of the recruiting process.

However more seriously,

Urban and his staff did a fantastic job. The last couple weeks push by his staff, traveling all over the country, what appeared maybe in a move of desperation turned out to be a well orchestrated and calculated plan to get Clark , Wilson, Bell and it worked out perfectly. In addition, they were able to keep EzE. I dont think anyone thought they could pull it off. Meyer said they would recruit aggressively all the way to signing day and they did just that.

What I like about recruiting now is every team can recruit the 25 max, plus backcounting, which is okay. The top programs will always draw the best talent, but there's no more of this open door policy of stockpiling and taking all you want by NSD, so the process is more fair or ~ on par with the Big Ten rules.

Now its time for Marriotti and to get these guys in shape and hopefully the QB play will improve on getting all these playmakers the ball so they can make something happen and lighten the load on Miller.

I also like the fact that Meyer has recruited the talent on the defensive side of the ball from day one, and they might even move guys from the D line to the Oline, a strategy that might move some athletic guys on the OLine.

This coaching staff seems to be more energetic than JTs staff, even though JT did a great job. Its a noticeable improvement and they are much more aggressive in recruiting.

OSU football has a great future that lies ahead.

I'll feel much more confident now when the team faces off against Buffalo Soldier next year :)
