The premise would be that we could have offered him at any point, we've been in on him for a long time. Some are surmising that this means we are going to miss out on some of the WR targets that we've heard about in the last week or 2.

This is not a good sign for Wilson for sure and Smith I guess. They want another receiver big time in this class.

Ok, got it...I've seen Timmons highlights and the competition doesn't seem very good...he looks like a decent player but I think the Buckeyes could do better.

Timmons has been Plan C all along, as evidence of waiting this long to desperately reach out to him.  Looks like Dontre Wilson fell through, but that certainly isn't a shock.

Timmons just got offered by the Florida Gators, Missouri and California yesterday, and that is on top of some other good offers, plus teams like Arkasnas and Kentucky out of the SEC.
Yes, the Florida Gators just offered, I suppose an elite team like the Gators are a back up team as well.
The Florida Gators covet speed, this is not a Plan B kid when teams like Florida throw their hat in the ring.  Cal gets a ton of WR's to the NFL, and has a first rounder going again this year.  Anyone ever hear of DeShaun Jackson out of Cal?  Keenan Allen is a consensus first round WR out of Cal this year.
Missouri has had several first round WR's to the NFL the last few years as well.  WR Jerry MacLin, QB Gabbert and TE Coffman, all big time and first round  picks, they just landed the #1 WR for 2012 in Beckham Green.

Florida and Cal don't offer guys from Kentucky if they can't ball. Timmons looks to be the real deal. A tad small but he looks to be a guy who is a threat with the football in his hands.

They don't ban because they want to make this unbearable. If that gets a few paying posters it's worth it. I think it's a real smart strategy.

Problem with that is they dont ban the trolls on the pay boards either and even that is getting unbearable.
