Last I checked, Tony Stevens is now the 9th WR commitment in A&M's class.  Wow.

People who say stuff like this is obviously struggling with the fact that there is a black president in office. There is no way you can justify Obama being a worse president than Bush...Obama is a very good president and a breath of fresh air from Bush.

Re: Did A&M just get recruit number 35

IIRC I saw on their site that there are at least 3 recruits who are not expected to make the grades to get in, so that will drop the # to 32. The SEC's rule is 25 for that year-but you can still oversign if you have early entrants that can count to last years' class. The 35 number looks really nuts, but its not as much as it would seem as long as they are under the 85 cap. UF is similar this year in that they are expected to take 30 or 31 (26 commits now with the Anzalone switch today). Including A. Anzalone, who will enroll in school tomorrow, there are 8 EE's this year, so technically, UF could sign as many as 33. The number most recruiding insiders say is 30. Right now, depending upon whom you talk to, there are between 55 and 58 scholarship players. The reason for two numbers is that last year 3 former walkons were awarded scholarships, because UF was under the 85 limit. This is not unusual, but when it is done, it is with the understanding that it is only for 1 year, and may not be renewed the following year if the numbers don't allow it.

Re: Did A&M just get recruit number 35

What's the point of this thread?

They can get 100 commits if they want.

Can only sign have 25 enter school as freshmen in the class of 2013 per new SEC agreement. The SEC patted itself quite vigorously on the back last year for its "no oversigning" agreement. Then again, the coaches hate it. Spurrier has been especially outspoken.

South Carolina had like 32 commits last year.

Ways around this issue: get some commits to enroll early (right now) to count as members of the 2012 freshman class; send some of the off to prep school or JUCO for a year or two; wait for some kids to fall short of academic requirements; as signing day nears, tell some kids to get lost (Alabama did that with an injured RB from Atlanta last year; actually asked him to delay entry).

If all that fails, and a school is days away from the beginning of the 2013-'14 school year, that school can -- like Alabama tried last year -- ask signees to delay entry for a year. In the Alabama case, the kid went to another school instead.

Nothing screams racist more than when someone uses a man's race as their first line of attack. I look at Obama and see someone unfit to lead the country. You obviously see a black man and then someone better than bush(wow, great compliment). It's absolutely pathetic for you use race as a reason someone should hate another rather than his total ineptness as our country's leader.

Not voting for a particular person doesn't make you a racist and that goes for whether the candidate is black or white.

BTW, you're not to count the cents when you refer to yourself as receiving a six figure salary.
