You clowns busting on Zach Smith do realize it was Tom Herman who started the WR tweets, right?

Would be pretty amazing to land Bell. The kid looked solid last night! Socky wrote: Now lets close the recruiting season out with Vonn Bell and call it a year .....

RE: Army all American game
A couple of points:
1. At least Quick isn't going to another B1G school like scUM 2. We got two great LB prospects this week 3. JT probably would have went 0-2

No wonder most people on this board ignore you.

81, get a clue. JT was a great recruiter and his track record proved that.

Didn't see Apple or Hill in the game. Did they play?

RE: Army all American game
I am pleased as anyone that we have Urban as Coach. That being said, did anyone notice the record of one Jim Tressel. He recruited well, and his teams performed. He was not exactly chopped liver. Urban being a great coach does not mean that Tressel had to be a poor coach. I love both as buckeye coaches. Go Bucks!

JT was a good recruiter. He just didn't have a great track record at the Army AA Game. awesomebucks wrote: 81, get a clue. JT was a great recruiter and his track record proved that.

Re: Army all American game
Apple deserves MVP. He played more than half of the game and didn't have his name called once. That's exactly what you want from a DB.

He made the plays that mattered to win the game. Congrats to James Quick for making his decision today, and staying in his hometown. Wish him well.

Congrats to James Quick for making his decision today, and staying in his hometown. Wish him well. So the complete stifling of the West passing offense for the majority of the game is made irrelevant by one play? We have different perspectives on what the MVP should be, I'll take the player who was relevant on every down rather the player who made one good play. It's why Byars deserved the Heisman over Flutie in '84.
