Re: New Offer - Dan Skipper OT
This. I really like his film. Skipper moves well and plays with mean streak with a good motor. My only concern is can the kid maintain leverage at that height? What happens if he continue to grow? A 7 foot OT theFootballBeast wrote: Kid is 6'10" and not even filled out yet at 295". That alone makes him an intriguing prospect. He could easily get up to 330 with good weight just looking at him.

Yo, I'll tell you what's funny... your mom. Go troll somewhere else. JonCJG wrote: urban is funny. His MO seems to be to offer any OL that Hoke offers.
He still hasn't received a commit from an OL who has a Michigan offer.

Why hasn't he come back to post again on this thread? brutus79 wrote:2012 OL commits Taylor Decker and late commit OT Kyle Dodson had Michigan offers dufus. Kozan was a Buckeye if offered and he turned Michigan down for Auburn. Michigan also offered 2013 OT and OSU commit Evan Lisle before OSU did. Just another dumb dimwit Michigan poster that facts mean little to. DL Joey Bosa, Billy Price and Mike Hill say hello to UofM and Mattison as well, all had UofM offers and picked Urban and OSU. DB's Woodard, Burrows and Conley all say hello as well. Yes, Urban is funny, he beat Flounder Hoke this year and went 12-0, and his two national titles recently are more than Michigan has in over their last 70 or more years of college football existence. Urban is so funny, he stole Conley late from Hoke and Mattison, as Mattison went down and told Conley his offer still stands and he can play WR, we are still laughing at that one. Urban is so funny, OSU is ranked #2 in some pre season polls UofM is outside the top 20 in. I think OSU fans are the one laughing. JonCJG wrote: urban is funny. Maker84 wrote: I hate plan C recruits, rather him stay at Tennessee He must be a Star Gazer...lol At the end of the day he and I have NO CLUE how good(or bad) this kid will be at the next level. Imo, The kid has a very impressive offer list considering how long he's been committed. (June)

He still hasn't received a commit from an OL who has a Michigan offer. And Hoke offers every other position tht Urb offers. You had better hope some of those Mich OL with OSU offers can separate from DB's and run good routes.

Re: New Offer - Dan Skipper OT
I hope you're right but I have been following OSU recruiting since JT took over and I can't tell you how many times I have heard the same story only to lose all the 4-5 stud OLs to out-of-state schools. Especially the SEC schools. bamabrutus wrote: Honestly I could care less if we get another OL and heres why. Next year we will land 4-5 stud OL.
I hope we roll over 4-5 scholarships honestly. 2014 has so much better prospects its not even close.
If we can get Quick, Gibson, Bell, Worley, and maybe another prospect I will be just fine with it.
I get a feeling you will here about 4-5 more guys leaving after winter break. Then after spring you will here about 1-2 more.
Yeah going 12-0 must be funny to Michigan fan because they have only won 10+ games in a season 2 times in the last 6-7 years.
The ownership papers of the B10 have been sent to Columbus.

Re: New Offer - Dan Skipper OT
Listen, Urban won his championships with players recruited by someone else at Florida. He also went 12-0 with Tressel's recruits, with no pressure of actually going to a bowl this year. He learned alot from Rich Rod and is a good X's and O's coach but he doesn't have an eye for talent which is why he seems to offer Hoke recruits after they've either committed or receive an offer. Skipper and Ward are merely the latest examples This offer reeks of desperation; Ohio st is hurting for OL help and this latest offer proves it.

Re: New Offer - Dan Skipper OT
you believe whatever makes you sleep better at night.....UM is a better coach IN ALL FACETS of the game than Hoke.....only people who dont believe that are Michigan homers who like to lie to themselves about their relevance, or lack thereof.

he would be our tallest player ever, for sure. Has there ever been a 6-10 college player?
