I'm not sure we want that in the class after what happened to other Glenville recruits in the past. Glenville recruits have always been a hit or miss in terms of character. Based on what has happened in his recruitment process, I'm not sure Worley falls into the former category, that is all. Isn't that true for the whole world? Soom good some bad. I guess people could take the totality what the glenville players and decifde whether they have been good or bad overall but in the end they are all individuals. Coaching and teaching only goes so far at Glenville or anywhere else.

Re: Christopher Worley
Somebody close down this mistake.
Ginn gets as many of his kids scholarships as he can. That is why they hold off committing. It has been well documented for years.
I am sure his health has not helped any updates.
That is all.

Yes it's ok to take your time on your decision but if you already know where you are going why wait until February? It's not like he has the opportunity to visit USC, Florida or anyone worth a damn.

A child has to right to commit whenever he wants without psychos on the internet saying he likes "drama" for doing so.
Really sit back... hover over yourself... and take a good look. Do you think you look like a reasonable person right now?

Re: Christopher Worley
Same could be said for a lot of recruits we've had -- but we don't really have the same volume of recruits from any other school over the years to compare track records to. Ginn, Whitner, Smith, Hines and Bryant have proven to be worth the risk. We're talking about a school that is athletically drawing in kids from all over a school district that is (on a good day) a rough place to come from. And the hit-or-miss on character issues has actually been less of a problem with the Glenville kids than you'd like to believe -- it's the academics that have been problematic for quite a few of them. That said, I'd be happy to see Urban take a chance on Worley, and then Lattimore and Marcelys Jomes next year. theFootballBeast wrote: ColoradoBuckeye60 wrote: C'mon Footballbeast, Really? theFootballBeast wrote: Worley is another attention getting drama queen just like aundrey walker. So that when teams come in to see one player they can also take a look at others who may be worthy ofa schcolarship as well. It's about having players help other players get an education and get out of the hood. It's been working for Ginn for a while and beneficial for many colleges. Not all of the players don't end up at ohio state but wind up somewhere.

East Celveland-the area-not the specific city, would be a far better place if there were more Ted Ginn Sr.s living there.

RE: Christopher Worley
I don't mean to be nitpicky, but East Cleveland is an actual municipality, separate from the City of Cleveland (it's where Shaw HS is located). I think you meant to say is the East Side (as that's what the area is called). stxbuck wrote: HokeIsFat wrote: ohpeeum wrote: A child has to right to commit whenever he wants without psychos on the internet saying he likes "drama" for doing so.

I guess East Side would have been more specific. Either way, TG Sr. does an amazing amount of good for young men from one if the worst areas in the country, let alone the state.

Beni you obviously don't live in Cleveland or you would not have made such an asinine comment. Suffice to say that you are so clueless ..... The heck with it . Go back to the TSUN board.
