Sweet tattoo... lol... i realize these kids forge bonds w their recruiters, but sounds awfully fishy when kid says he'll follow his recruiter wherever he goes... sounds like a package deal

He was an Alabama commit first, then Auburn. Just may be seeking attention. Don't believe we're anywhere in the picture.

It doesn't hurt to go after a position that we really need. I say put the full court press on and see where it gets us. He said that he hasn't narrowed anything down yet so that seems to have left the door open for other teams (Ohio State)!

The kid is wanting to follow Trooper Taylor. That's about as big a red flag as there is in recruiting.

I doubt Trooper Taylor is going to be working at an FBS school next year.  Wonder if the kid is going to sit out a year?  tongue

Nearly 20yr old high school senior with a 4yr old daughter, tattoo of a school he'll never attend on his arm, follows around one of the scummiest figures in all of CFB(first transferred to the same high school as Taylor's son, then switched his commitment to Auburn, now says he'll follow Taylor wherever he ends up), and makes the Honey Badger sound brilliant; Foster is going for a red flag world record. I'll be shocked if he hasn't lost his amateur status and is still academically eligible within the next 2yrs.

Unless the NCAA does something, I bet somebody takes a chance and hires Taylor.  They'll just have to live with the NCAA setting up a permanent branch office on campus.

Pass. I would much rather have Raekwon McMillan in '14 than Foster in '13 and McMillan has made it more than clear he has no intentions of going to the same school as Foster.
GO BUCKS!!!

Sounds like everyone on this board is Foster's best friend and knows everything about him, as for me, i say give him a chance.

Get him.  Dont care about kids, age, criminal past, etc.  If he can play ball, we need him ASAP.

Don't need a problem child. We are fine at LB. We had 5 freshman LBs this season, why so many expected them to be allstars in their true freshmen year is beyond me. Foster is big, and strong, but a step or two slow. Mitchell has great speed, much more athletic, with good size. Plays sideline to sideline. Much better get IMO. 2014 will be a big year for the Buckeyes at LB.

Nobody in their right mind wants to give the NCAA any more of a reason to start snooping around thier program. There are some things worth staying away from.

I think we could use a big middle backer, then we could have mitchell playing outside with his speed...teams need a good balance.
