Keep in mind, OSU offered DB Korrin Wiggins, a North Carolina commit who is HS teammates with Jamal Marcus, and Wiggins was at OSU the whole Michigan weekend as well.
Even adding Wiggins to the above, big time DB haul.

I would agree, but OSU offered Wiggins last March, he has an OSU offer, plus offers from South Carolina, Tennessee, Clemson and some other real nice SEC/ACC programs when he commmitted to UNC last march. Kid is a baller, he is a physical DB that brings the wood and has good length, and his HS program is loaded with talent, OSU has offers out to two of his elite 2014 teammates as well. Now back to Conley, great DB pick up and haul so far. Any Von Bell type or any other late addition, icing on the cake. Hayze wrote:

Congrats to conley! He really blew up this year and as a tall cb with good hips, he has a chance to be a quality pickup for urban. The only thing he needs to do is gain 20 pounds, but marotti will take care of that in the offseasonc

Always nice to see an Ohio kid stay in his home state, but I'm still puzzled why the buzz for this young man has been so strong. He's reportedly a 165 lb. CB, with a very average offer sheet and a three star rating (I know, I know - the stars mean nothing). Just curious if he's had a major upswing in performance during his senior year to garner interest from OSU ?? We have limited scholarships to work with, some great DB's already in this class and we're hurting more at LB and OL. Was it more important to pull him away from Michigan, than it was to actually have him as part of the class ??  |

Someone asked why he would de-commit from scUM. You could say it in a series two words; Urban Meyer, Conference championships, National Championships, Buckeye Nation, and Common Sense. He is a welcomed addition to the Buckeyes. Also if you had a chance to play for Urban or that coach up north, who would you choose?

CanukBuck, I will take Urban's thoughts on who to recruit over posters, recruiting gurus, and anyone else. If Urban wants him as a Buckeye, I want him as a Buckeye. Tressel did a pretty good job recruiting when gurus and posters questioned his choices. No one is 100% on all recruits, but Tressel held is own.
