....didn't I see a thread on here about how OSU fans shouldn't panic about recruiting on the OL? Hmmmmmmmm......
The majority of guys who have committed somewhere are not going to decommit just because a prettier girl asks them to the dance. In many cases by the time they commit they have formed strong relationships with the coaches, with other recruits, with other players – and in many cases, they may feel that to switch to a major program like Ohio State would simply result in less playing time at a more prestigious school. They may prefer to stay somewhere where the odds of them starting for two or three years is a lot better, even if the odds of going to a national championship game are a lot less.
True, but Ohio State only inquired since Bret bolted out of town (that often makes recruits reconsider) - and I think this was their only commit OSU approached. OSU knew Keeler liked that Madison was a good school only two hours from his home and a good buddy (who was high school teammate) is a freshman OG there.
Not a panic, but just appropriately turning over all the rocks when things change. A panic is when RichRod only left you with three valid OLs who'll be 3rd to 5th year guys (assuming Lewan doesn't bolt from AA for NFL)
