Re: Urban Meyer is kicking Brian Kelly's ass in recruiting!
Meyer called Noah Spence week two of his OSU tenure last year and locked him up. ND and Kelly visited a few Spence play off games, as did LSU and others, while Meyer was there, Meyer got Spence. Meyer stole Decker. Armani Reeves was sitting there decommitted from Penn State and had a ND offer, Meyer stole him late. Please, with that nonsense, until Kelly wins a BCS title and even gets a resume close to Urban Meyer, these threads are ridiculous. Give Notre Dame credit for being 12-0, they could also easily have 4/5 losses. Bama and Saban will expose all those weaknesses soon enough. Kelly is recruiting just fine. They do as well nationally as any team in the country.

You're pissed because we went after a committed guy? Guess what, we got nine guys who better go do it again. Do it a little harder next time. - U. Meyer

Do I have to give them credit for going 12-0? What is the lesser of two evils...having Saban win again or ND finally win one...wow, tough choice. Think I will just ignore all the hype before the game.

Re: Urban Meyer is kicking Brian Kelly's ass in recruiting!
First time since 1988 they competed for a national title, so the Irish fans are crawling out from under rocks and out of the wood work like cock roaches. ND fans have to be thankful DRbob threw all those int's and UofM had 2 red zone TO's in only beating them by a TD, has to be thankful Kiffin could not throw more in the red zone, thankful the Pitt kicker choked in OT, thankful the ref's took two OT TD's away from Stanford, and thankful BYU and Purdue gave up late leads. Lets hope ND goes back to their usual 3/4 loss team next year, and the luck from this year goes away, so they away on the OSU boards as well. sanitarian2 wrote: First time in a Decade that the Iris are even relevant and they cock off like this?

Re: Urban Meyer is kicking Brian Kelly's ass in recruiting!
We know what we did this year, the obvious is, OSU has played in quite a few BCS title games, won a BCS title game, and blew Notre Dame out of the water 3 times since then, including a BCS blow out I was glad to be at, and watch Notre Dame fans crawl out of the stadium. OSU had contended other national titles, finished 2nd quite a few times in the final polls with no BCS process in place. Ohio State has won a BCS title, played in others, and went into the bowl season contending for national titles since Notre Dame last title. OSU is relevant the last 25 years, Notre Dame right now is a one year wonder and a fraud the last 20 years. KurzND wrote:

I will be thankful when tOSU is the only undefeated team in the country on Jan 8th......Roll Tide(on the 7th, at least) Lets hope ND goes back to their usual 3/4 loss team next year, and the luck from this year goes away, so they away on the OSU boards as well.

Re: Urban Meyer is kicking Brian Kelly's ass in recruiting!
Let me get this straight Notre Dame got by Purdue, Michigan, BYU, Stanford, Pitt, etc... and you are going to fault Ohio State for doing the same thing? OSU is 12-0 in the regular season for the 3rd time since 2002. 12-0 2012 12-1 2010 11-2 2009 11-2 2007 12-1 2006 10-2 2005 11-2 2003 14-0 2002 11-1 1998 11-1 1996 11-2 1995 10-1-1 1993 Has ND had this type of success in the last 20 years? Re: Urban Meyer is kicking Brian Kelly's ass in recruiting!
Avg. star ranking: ND: 3.86 tOSU: 3.82 Only difference in star ranking is due to tSOU having to take a punter in this class As far as total points, thats based on quantity. At the moment ND has 22 commits to tOSU's 17 commits so of course they would currently be ranked higher than tOSU The truth is, both schools are recruiting exceptionally well, as one would expect with 12-0 records and their brand names.
