Re: Dymonte Thomas--A Punk and Traitor
Here's my question, and I'm sure you guys have talked about it before on this board: do you think we could've kept him in Scarlet and Gray if Hoke didn't have a head start over Meyer?

Absolutely. He dug his own grave and knew there was no climbing out. The previous staff did the ground breaking though. RE: Dymonte Thomas--A Punk and Traitor
Thomas wanted to come to Ohio State but his recruiting was botched from the get go. It's on the record that Bollman irreparably screwed up Thomas coming here. He wanted to come to visit for a game his junior year yet Bollman told him he had to camp first for what ever reason, which pissed Thomas off. That is when he ended up going to Michigan. By the time Meyer was hired it was too late, as I'm sure Thomas has built up a relationship with the staff.
Had Meyer (or Tressel) been here to handle it, he would of been playing at Ohio State, no questions asked.

Yes, he did. One other thing, it was posted on the message boards last year that Thomas tweeted that if his mom gave him Ohio State gear, "he would wipe his butt with it."

He's just a kid stoking the flames of the rivalry. Don't get so upset by it. I confess, though, that if I was his cousin, Brionte, I would make it a point to run right at Dymonte, first chance I got. Someone has to rule the roost.

BucksBig, I agree, from this point on OSU will have an opportunity to play for more National Championships then most teams. Let those who don't want to be Buckeyes go. I only want players who do want to play for the Buckeyes.

Oh, and has anyone heard from Kalis since the game ended Saturday? As I recall, he talked a lot of smack about spilling blood on the field. I don't recall hearing his name called during the broadcast... Considering he reshirted as did all the O-line commits.

True, but he didn't seem to have any trouble flapping his gums about "blood will be spilled" when he was still just a recruit. Unless it was a medical red shirt because his jaw was wired shut, I assume he still could have chimed in. I didn't hear anything from him during or after the game.

RE: Dymonte Thomas--A Punk and Traitor
Well, I don't think he was talking about his blood "spilling", so that's probably irrelevant. And I also don't think he meant that he alone was going to cause the spilling of Buckeye blood, but maybe I misinterpreted him. It seemed as if he was suggesting that the mighty, mighty wolver-weenies were going to spill the blood of the Buckeyes all over the field. I believe that was a reference to kicking our asses. How did that work out? MWolverines15 wrote: Pipey wrote: MWolverines15 wrote: Pipey wrote:
