Is this the 2013 and 2014 All-American list, or is it the list of attendees for the Michigan-Ohio State game?  I don't think I've ever seen that much talent all come together for a single football game recruiting visit. Simply - WOW!!!!! Urban Meyer is ridiculous. 2014 recruiting wish list

Maybe it's just me.
Can each of these big time recruits receive enough attentions and love from our staffs?
I'm seeing negative effects as well.

I'm seeing negative effects as well. THE GAME will not be for Meyer and Co to spend time with every single recruit. Most of the 2013 players have already visited or will probably visit again. Most of the 2014 recruits are just starting their recruiting process. I think Meyer will focus on a couple of the big guns for 2013 and maybe a few for 2014. The rest are there to enjoy the atmosphere and, IMO one of the most important things, develop relationships with each other. That's an advantage of having a lot of commits visit too on that day. They can do some recruiting too. This is a reason why Vonn Bell and Dorian Johnson want to visit after the season, to spend more time with the coaches. There won't be any negative effects from the game, even if (God forbid) we happen to lose. The atmosphere and the amount of talent on the sidelines can only be good for us. |

I love having all the '14 OL recruits coming. We have been lacking depth for years. It would be nice to have the depth to RS most OL and get them in the weight room for a full year. It will take a few years to build that kind of quality depth.

Is there room on the sideline for 69 visits. Lets see 82 Buckeyes in uniforms plus 69 recruits plus coaches and staff = intimidation for scUM.

I think Mitchell can be a beast of a player if he either plays with his hand in the dirt or takes some time to learn technique and proper pursuit of the football. Watch his tape, he's athletic as hell but very raw and sporadic, definitely something good coaching can easily fix. |
