Godwin Igwebuike gets his offer?
Jerod Smalley @ JerodNBC4 Pick North's Godwin Igwebuike says he now has offers from OSU & Mich, but he remains committed to N'Western.
Kid is an amazing talent and played both ways.
WOuld have been Mr. Football if he played more than just a half for most of their games in the beginning of the season imho.
interesting

Re: Godwin Igwebuike gets his offer?
No shot at all at being Mr. Ohio if he played all year Hunt will win it by a huge margin and still would have wom by a huge margin if Goodwin was healthy Hunt often only played the first half or till the middle of 3rd quarter of games and still put up 3000 total yards and close to 50 total TDs. --------------------------------------------- --- ohio4president wrote: Jerod Smalley @ JerodNBC4 Pick North's Godwin Igwebuike says he now has offers from OSU & Mich, but he remains committed to N'Western. --------------------------------------------- no clue who that is, you're probably right. And Godwin was healthy all year, his team just dominated teams. Two weeks in a row I think he had a combined 10 carries for 400 yards. I wonder if Urban wants him at safety or rb? I wonder if we actually offered him

RE: Godwin Igwebuike gets his offer?
Kareem Hunt is easily the most underrated player in Ohio, I thought he should have gotten way more attention. His film is great.

Re: Godwin Igwebuike gets his offer?
Godwin is an absolute STUD, havent seen Hunt play but Godwin looked like he was a video game against teams. He broke off a 63 yard TD run last week vs Darby to switch momentum jooking multiple guys and cut back across field. The Joke I always heard about Godwin is the only ones that slowed him down were the Coaches (up big so they would rest him instead of stat piling) yes he had over 200yds in multiple games in 10 or less carries.
He does have offers from both schools but like mentioned I believe will stay connected to Northwestern, Great Student and likes the education he can get (Doctor?)
Heard the rumor that for the Pick North vs Pick Central reg season game Hoke was not there to check in on Butt and Taco but to talk to Godwin
I dont think we have the numbers available but any other year Godwin would be a Buckeye recruit.
Great kid, Great athlete Best of Luck to him at NW,

Recruits with last names like this, usually end up at Stanford.

RE: Godwin Igwebuike gets his offer?
Not knocking on Godwin but I'd rather have Ryan Timmons. In fact I'd rather have Timmons over any of the wr/rb/athlete's out there left on our recruiting board.

Heard from fairly reliable source the kid will stick with NW.

RE: Godwin Igwebuike gets his offer?
For some reason... I never feel bad about losing a kid to NW, Stanford or Duke!
It's obvious or tradition trumps theirs... But it's obvious the kid has education first! That being said, with how big the Buckeye brand is, an undergraduate degree and collegiate playing career at tOSU (IMO) will open many more doors than the same at NW or Duke (maybe not Stanford)! The OSU family is so large, it's hard to beat! Now... A non-football player would be very wise to pick NW, Duke or Stanford over tOSU (IMO).

He never considered Duke originally, but a friend of his from high school told him to come check it out when he announced he was transferring.
