Jonathan Haden
Whats the deal with this kid. Hear his name In a couple of threads as being a must get? No ranking, times or anything? Is this a token offer to get a bigger fish? Help me out here.

RE: Jonathan Haden
The deal is that we want him and are probably in the lead for him.
While there are not official 40 times and what not, there is tape and the tape is real good.

Considering his brother was a first team all american and national defensive player of the year if his tape looks good he is a no-brainer.

Re: Jonathan Haden
He's still a junior. I don't think too many of those guys are timed or ranked yet. But, He has a brother in the NFL and has turned a fair number of heads from what I've read... and Coach Meyer has offered him already (family history there) so I'll just assume he's the goods. Re: Jonathan Haden
I got the "must get" from reading threads that talk about 2014 recruits. His name gets brought up a bunch of times. I just looked at his offer list being 3 and no times. Didn't watch any film. I don't put to much stock into film. Some of the kids from my high school when I watch them on tv look like OSU material. And we play D-6. The eye test is better in person. I mean, the kid is not a secret. His brother is a stud nfl player. Why no sec offers? Why no camp times.

Re: Jonathan Haden
Hopefully Urban reads your post and realizes he is wasting his time with this one and moves on to the next recruit. Looks like you have done your homework and there is nothing to see here. Next man up...

Re: Jonathan Haden
Did you read the part where I wrote that he's still a junior? The Seniors for 2013 haven't even signed their LOI yet and a lot of the 2014 kids haven't gotten their due diligence yet. If you go look at some other 2014 recruits who have committed to SEC schools already, you'll see they don't all have times listed either, nor do all of them have tons of offers yet. Be patient. Re: Jonathan Haden
Haden out of DC (corrected) or Autry out of GA look like the top choices for the position that Urban covets so much. Score from any where at any time.
Several other bruisers (Hurd) in line as well.
RB will be a "happy" place for OSU for years / decades to come.

LCB Thank you. Is he a true RB or would we use him in the slot as well.

Re: Jonathan Haden
Haden plays in the DC area, not Florida -- same as his brother Joe, who only played in Florida as a college student. LakeCoBuck wrote: Haden out of FL or Autry out of GA look like the top choices for the position that Urban covets so much. Score from any where at any time.
