I know he's listed as an OLB, but his body and physicality says true MLB to me. That's exactly what this defense needs. This kid would have a shot to start next week for OSU.

Having his coach send him on a blitz every time and getting 67 sacks in a year like on Tecmo Bowl? On his film he reads the plays correctly and gets there quickly w/ a bad attitude-that is exactly what you want in a LB. He showed that he could play and hit in space-that is what LBs have to do in college. There's a certain kind of reassuring white rock....and some people do well with that.....

lol watch the highlights on the scout page and i dont think they were that impressive. now the youtube are much better and what i would expect from his ranking and offers. but at the time all i had seen were the scout page clips. |

trey is a GREAT kid.
very polite and respectful.
plays in one of the best regions for high school football in america.
he is a really good tackler. not just a pile jumper either.
he is much better suited for a 4-3.
i havent talked to him since dawg nite so have no clue what he is thinking right now.
he will be a good pick up for someone.

What makes anyone think Urban isn't down there talking to the next outside linebacker for Ohio State. Lords know we need deepth and at last count I not sure we had much. Linebackers and cover linebackers are a critical need for our defense and this recruiting class. Urban knows very well were we lack the skills and depth to truly dominate on defense.
Mike Mitchell would be a huge piece to this recruting class, but we need more than just Mitchell to build quality depth. Coach Meyer seems to pick one or two key areas for him to focus on down the stretch of recruiting. That usually changes the game!!

The way he runs to the ball & just blows people up is what's impressive. All instincts with this kid. Finds the ball carrier and rails his ass. Quick, fast & instincts who also has very good size. |

With Perkins, Roberts, Perry, Marcus in last years's class plus Grant and Shazier returning,
plus Crowell (if he can come back from injury), plus hopefully Mitchell in this year's class
with lewis already in, we have 9 lbs on next years roster. maybe a few from last year's
class are not really Osu caliber? It seems we have enough bodies, maybe the talent is
not there.

I'd be willing to bet this kid is getting some kind "incentive" from auburn. Cash or something. Just like Ruben fosters complete 180 he pulled on bama. Shady stuff going on in auburn.
