Here’s some more useless info!!
Well first off forget Missouri , they always were a Big-Ten recruiting area, and they are not considered a fen' fast southern state. Texas again, I'm not sure of, Ohio State never recruited them until just recently, but I know Iowa and Nebraska and even Purdue recruit them pretty good; than that goes back to where some of the coaches were from as well.
However I gotta say one thing!!!
Alabama in 70 some fen’ years couldn’t win a Heisman until they recruited a kid from Michigan in 2009 won them one. Plus maybe Alabama doesn’t recruit many from the non-fen’ fast states, but probably more than any other sec school (check me about 8% since 2001, I also keep track of recruiting) and they won more National Championships.
Just fen’ maybe if schools like Georgia, LSU, and Florida ever wants to become one of those so called “Blue Blood” schools (we gotta thread going on that)they should start recruiting more slow “Smart” players from the mid-west.
I guess West Virginia don’t count neither in the Big-Tens recruiting either since they are a Big-12 school!!
