Apparently murder doesn't put anyone on that list, right Ray? Right, OJ?

Definately don't agree with Tiger at #3. He has a lot of haters for sure but he still gets the biggest roars on tour. He's the most polarizing guy on the list IMO.

Good point but they are so much in the past. OJ isn't even mentioned these days in regard to sports. You have an argument in regard to Lewis but his bad deeds were a time ago. I think he is still pretty hated though. Just didn't make the list.

RE: America's Most Disliked Athletes

As a Bears fan, it's funny (and not surprising) that Jay Cutler is on that list. I mean, I get he acts like a douche. But look at his company.

Lance Armstrong is a philanderer who left his wife that stayed with him while he battled cancer as soon as he got famous then relentlessly cheated while trying to destroy the lives of anyone that spoke against him.

Tiger Woods cheated on his wife how many times? Thousands upon thousands all while banking of an image of superiority.

Manti Teo used a fake cancer victim to propel himself to national stardom.

Ron Artest was involved in one of the most ridiculous moments in sporting history and has been suspended dozens of time for dirty play.

Alex Rodriguez: huge, huge cheater.

Mike Vick is a convicted felon who killed countless animals.

Kobe Bryant was on trial for sodomizing another human being.

Kurt Busch gets in fights every other week (or so I am told, NASCAR LOL).

Cutler is...kind of pouty sometimes? I guess? He's bad with the media?

Cutler is incredibly arrogant, shoves his own players, and generally blames everyone but himself for his failures. He has horrible non-verbal body language and comes across like a spoiled prick.

The warm breeze of September optimism in Ann Arbor, is once again replaced with the cool October wind of reality.

I would add Pete Rose to a all-time disliked athletes list. He is not as bad as Lance Armstrong but he did lie throughout the years.

As time progresses and Selig leaves office, perhaps baseball's greatest hitter will get his just shot at the HOF. His error was breaking one of baseball's cardinal rules - betting on baseball. For that, he should be prohibited from ever working in the game in any capacity. However, his baseball achievements, without the aid of PED's, certainly merit his inclusion in the HOF.

What is the baseball Hall of Fame without the player who garnered 4,256 hits and the only player to start the All Star game at 5 different postions? It's a SHAM. Ban him from earning income from the game - fine, but don't continue to lessen his legitimate on-field accomplishments with the penalty from betting on baseball.

That list looks like it is only active athletes, although I am not sure Lance could be considered active.
Tony Romo?

I know hes still in college but Marshall Henderson from Ole Miss is slowly started to become polarizing for his antics on the basketball court and he overall behavior and has another year to play too.

Don't understand Tony Romo at all.  I don't like the Cowboys, but Romo is hardly unlikeable.  I have heard multiple stories of him doing off the cuff nice things for people.  Pretty surprised he makes the list before Roethlisberger.  I have also rarely heard good things said about Bonds.

Ray Lewis hands down.

Hating Romo because he's not good isnt really worht it.  he doesnt dance (and stab) quote God constantly (and stab), sign TV deals while still in season (after stabbing).  Same with Vick.

Woods did the same thing many many many corporate CEO's have done, he was just in the spotlight moreso.

ARod is too douchey for anyone to care outside of Yankee fans.

Lance is tuff.  I dont care enough about cycling, and i wonder if this is the 1 case where the ends did indeed justify the means (TdeFr gets publicity, LA raises tons of cash for cancer research. Who gets hurt?  Intl cycling body?   huh?)

Artest just got suspended again for sucker punching Brandon Knight.

Why isn't Mike "The Mouth" Hart on this list?

The wives of teammates who he's physically threatened.  The lives of former employees whose reputation he publically thrashed and took to court.  You think the sole reason why people donate to cancer research is b/c of Lance Armstrong?  It's not the millions of loved ones who have the disease, possibly?  It's not like it took Lance Armstrong to shine a spotlight on cancer awareness.  I think most people were aware of the disease before he got it.  He was an inspiration, no doubt, but much of that inspiration is built on lies and bullying...not exactly the most noble of means.
