I bet the miami fan wishes these refs had been there for the 2003 title game. that no call was bad. I know refs are scared to become bigger than the game (some of them anyway) but you have to call the rules for 60 minutes not just the first 58 mins.

Kaepernick had over 300+ yards passing, a bunch of rushing yards, and played an impressive game.

He is the future of the league. I could see them in the superbowl again next year

IDK why a pro player's performance would have any effect on your personal dignity unless youre just a troll. In which case I would agree, it probably is embarrassing to be a troll.

Re: Super Bowl game thread

Officiating was a disgrace to football but making excuses for their own stupidity solves nothing.  The 9'ers came out playing Tressel ball (establish the run) and the Ravens came out to win the game (pass on ANY down).
I'm not sure the 9'ers or Jim Tressel know that you are allowed to pass on any down you please, not just 3rd and long.  Once they dug their hole so deep by giving the Ravens great field position (with 3 and outs) it was too late.

The 49er game plan had little to do with why they lost. Their defense let them down. Boldin owned 29 all night. Jones burned the secondary and the special teams. Poor execution by 49er defense. The 49 offense was the only reason the game was close at the end.

Whitner was solid all game. He did miss a few tackles, but he was aggressive and in almost every play.  He was everywhere.

Culliver deserves most of the blame, though.  he was abused all night and was responsible for the defensive lapses.  Also, Aldon Smith and Justin smith disappeared and didn't live up to their billing as top rated defensive players.

2014 recruiting wish list
1. Kyle Allen
2. Jamarco Jones
3. Raekwon McMillan
