How ? When they sign an athletic apparel deal with nike for example, one of the parts in the contract should be all apparel for the athletic department is free and for this you get free advertising for your apparel to increase sales. This is a no brianer

The best part of that article is that 90 years ago it seems that people were complaining about the ticket price (hypothetically in the story) and a journalist felt it important to explain the cost structure forcing the prices.

Then this week we have a thread on here about ticket prices and others justifying it.

The more things change the more the stay the same............
